Superb location
I had booked the hotel without knowing much about Chicago. I really lucked out! The hotel is within walking distance of The Art Institute, Millennium Park, Michigan Avenue, Willis Tower. Also, if you're flying out of O'Hare and do not have a rental car, the blue line is less than a five minute walk from the hotel and will take you right to the airport. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time since it is about a 40 minute ride.

Good Location/Value
The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. Best of all was the free WiFi. It's surprising how many Chicago hotels will give you a free breakfast but not internet.

Business Trip
Hotel is fine for one person per room. Rooms are small with bed and nice desk which was easy to work from with free Wifi. Bathroom was small but funtionable. Room was clean. They go a little to green for my taste. They did not provide plastic liners for ice buckets and provided bottles in hall to fill with water (I suspect city water). No complaints but not great.

Thoughtful staff
We were very impressed with the personal and thoughtful handwritten note left in our room by the reception clerk congratulating us on our wedding anniversary. The staff was also very helpful with luggage and taxi service. Overall, the workers were friendly and left the distinct impression that they like working there. That rubs off on hotel guests.

Great location, well connected
Was here for a 2-day conference and some sightseeing. Very close to the heart of Chicago - walking distance to the magnificent mile, Millenium park etc. It's only 2-3 blocks away from the major Metra lines. Room was tiny but comfortable - good use of space and lots of storage. I liked the fact that they provided bottles of water you could refill at the fountain instead of having to drink tap water. The only complaint is that they charged $35 for early check-in, which was a little money-grubbing: if you have the room available and it's already cleaned, why not provide check-in for free? For the money, pretty decent stay.

Great Location
The rooms are quite small but cozy. The hotel is located in the loop close to the Theater District and the Chicago Symphony concerts. Many restaurants and shopping near by. Good value for the location.

very good location
The hotel is located in Chicago down town, near to amtrak station, millennium park, and sears tower. However, shower does not work very well, and no refrigerator in the room
