I was in a smoking room, which is what I asked for, however why was there popcorn and ashes in my window seals? I was really disappointed with the temperature control as well, I like the air to be cool when I sleep, but for whatever reason even when I turned the thermostat to its lowest setting it was still warm air pumping out. I should have complained but my trip was so short I didn't think it worth it. The rooms are nice and the hotel all in all is ok. I was just put off for the most part on the cleanliness.

Enjoyable stay
Okay, so the digs are a bit spartan. But, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is well located and the prices are fine. There is a very nice sitting area, downstairs from the lobby, with lots of room, access to computers, two conference rooms and a complimentary super-automatic espresson machine that serves terrific cappucinos and lattes. The bathroom is a bit cramped and the rooms small but, again, clean and well appointed. This is our second stay there. We will be back!

Wonderful Place
Nice clean rooms, very friendly and helpful desk staff as well as the gentleman that parked our car. They gave us detailed instruction on how/where to catch the bus to save us $ instead of taking the taxi. We loved that they had fresh water that you could bottle to take with you. This location was close to the bus route, tram and restaurants. If you are looking for a spacious room this is not it, but if you just need that place to sleep while you are out during the day, this is it. Very quiet as well. They also have an attached restaurantl. Very soft pillows!

Great business hotel
Rooms were a little small but clean and comfortable. Can't beat the location in the central Loop. Front desk service and maid service were excellent. Great hotel for the money.

Cheap but great
The price was good, it was a friend and I getting together for a mini reunion but we needed some place cheap and wanted someplace downtown, this was it, it had everything we needed and was so close to everything, and still had that four star feeling even though it was only 80 a night

a working weekend
Just what I needed
The hotel was within walking distance from work and the price pretty darn good for being in the loop. The hotel and room were clean . The staff was professional, friendly and accommodating. It was just what I needed. I have slept in more comfortable beds, but I can understand that issue being very subjective. Overall, it met my needs perfectly. I have recommended to others already and will use again shoud the particular circumstances arise. :)

Short walk from hotel
I ordered carry out from my room at Elephants and Castles next door and saved the tip by taking the elevator downstairs, and walking next door to pick up the food myslef. And the food was quite good.

Location, price and service - great!
This was a great place to stay - not fancy, but clean and modern. Best of all was the pub next door - the Elephant and Castle. Highly recommend it!
