Came to town for a conference at the Federal Reserve Building
The location was great - just a couple of blocks off of the CTA Blue Line from O'Hare and just a 1 1/2 blocks from the Federal Reserve Building. The staff was nice, but not very conversational. The Doormen were the friendliest! The room was comfortable and well decorated. I would stay at this hotel again.

Convenient Location
For my short stay in Chicago I needed to find a hotel in the Loop that was very close to Union Station. Club Quarters was a good choice for me. The price was not too outrageous for a downtown hotel - although I was charged an extra $35 for early check-in (before 11am). The front desk staff was nice. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. I also liked that it was within walking distance to the Art Institute and Millennium Park. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Club Quarters.

Club Quarters
Great location, close to shopping and dining. I just wish we could have also received some compensation or affordable arrangement for parking. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable

Perfect for business travel
The Club Quarters is a great value for the business traveler. Front desk staff is very helpful, but you can bypass them if you like and use the check in kiosks. Rooms are small, but well appointed and suited to the business traveler. Firm beds, good pillows, desk and quiet. Great value.

Take the Blue Line from O'Hare. Super economical and faster than a cab at rush hour.

Spotty Access
As a wheelchair mobile person, I require a room that is compliant; with the Americans with Disbilities Act. The first room I was given had a roll-in shower but no grab bars around the toilet. I was given a better room that almost complied, except for the closet which didn't have a lowered clothing rod. The staff fixed that and after that my stay was very nice. The hotel has a wonderful "living room" with computers, two conference rooms, fireplaces and sitting areas. It was a little strange that the hotel was so cold for several days after the weather changed.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
There are three restaurants with local, organic food and free range meats with no antibiotics or growth hormones within three blocks. Rhapsody is east close to the Art Insitute and there are two eateries close to Sears Tower, just off Adams to the south.

Small, but just the right size
Club Quarters is a European style hotel with small rooms just big enough for the furniture. But personally, those are the kind of hotels I like. It was very clean and the extras were perfect for me: wifi, unlimited bottled water, and more than just 15 TV stations. Its close to shopping, Starbucks, and the train. I'd definately stay there again.

good enough
The location is good for business travellers or vacationers. The room was on the small side but adequate. But the air circulation was really poor. The room was stuffy. Not a great value. I would not make a great effort to stay there again.

Short walk from hotel
Always go to the Cultural Center soon after you arrive in town to find out what's going on that week. Then head across the street and get cheap theater tickets. Their staff always knows about all the plays and the best way to get there too!
