Good location clean friendly staff

Helpful staff good location. Great value. Didn't have a great view and I could hear the train system from time to time but for the price location and friendliness it was great value. Would stay there again anytime right next to the Belmont train station that connects to three subway lines which makes getting around so much easier. Continental breakfast was so so but I was there to party and made it down for a donut and cup of milk so I was sitting pretty. In boystown which is close enough to walk to wrigleyville and has a great nightlife of its own with plenty of storefronts to shop at and places to dine right outside.

Great Location

This is a great hotel to be at if you are heading to a Cubs game. The location is great. You are only a few blocks away from Wrigley. The suite rooms are pretty nice and it is always nice having a pullout sofa room if you can get one of those.

HIGH END AMENITIES FOR A REASONAL PRICE

THE ROOM I STAYED IN WAS A BEAUTIFUL CLEAN SUITE WITH 2 QUEEN BEDS & AND A CONVERTIBLE COUCH IN THE LIVING ROOOM AREA. THE MATTRESSES WERE COMFORTABLE, HAD FLUFFY COMFORTERS & MINK FEELING BLACK BLANKETS. EACH ROOM HAD A NICE SIZE FLAT PANEL TELEVISION WITH MULTIPLE CABLE CHANNELS. THE BATHROOM WAS ROOMY & HAD LARGE THICK SOFT WHITE TOWELS. WALL MOUNTED HIGH QUALITY SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER, BODY WASH & BODY LOTION DISPENSERS ADDED A LUXURIOUS TOUCH. EACH ROOM ALSO HAD AN IRON, BLOW DRYER AND WET BAR. ALTHOUGH THE HOTEL WAS NEAR THE TRAIN, AND ON A BUSY STREET, OUR ROOM FACED THE BACK AND WAS EXTREMELY QUIET. THE WINDOW VIEW WAS OF A BRICK WALL, BUT WHO CARES? EVERY MORNING BREAKFAST INCLUDED DONUTS, BAGELS, BOILED EGGS ETC. COFFEE. TEA AND HOT CHOCOLATE WERE SUPPLIED 24 HOURS A DAYS, AND EVERY EVENING COOKIES WERE ALSO OFFERED. THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THE MAIDS PROVIDED IMPECCABLE SERVICE, AND PLACED A CARD EVERY MORNING WITH THE DAILY WEATHER FORECAST. THE ONLY THING LACKING WAS ENOUGH STORAGE & DRESSER SPACE,ESPECIALLY SINCE THE SUITE COMFORTABLY SLEEPS 4 PEOPLE. THE LOBBY WAS NICELY FURNISHED, BUT I DID NOT LIKE THE STRONG SMELL OF INCENSE THAT PERMEATED EVERYTHING; AND SINCE THE ENTIRE HOTEL WAS A SMOKE FREE ZONE, I FELT THAT IT WAS NOT NECESSARY. I WAS PLEASANTLY SUPRISED BY MY STAY AT THIS HOTEL, AND DEFINITELY WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN

Great End of Semester Trip

This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had and I'm sure the other five people who were with me would agree. To start the hotel is on the same block as the red train line - which runs 24 hours - not all in chicago do. Hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything - from getting extra blankets to giving advice on where to go and what to eat. The continental breakfast was good with a range of items including boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels and donuts, juice and coffee and tea - which are available 24 hours. The room was a little cramped but I think that was because we were at full capacity. My only concern was that there was just the one bathroom with no fan - a little tricky with six people. Luckily there is a restroom on the first floor as well for when we needed it. Overall - a great experience!

Great hotel, great location

Loved this hotel...great feel, very clean, exceptionally nice staff, and perfect location. We were in town for a show at the Vic Theatre and its right around the corner, along with great shopping and restaurants. The only downfalls were the small elevator (only 3 people allowed) and the room was a bit dark, not much natural light. So really, not much to complain about! Will definitely be back!

Red Sox Cubs adventure

This place is great- felt like family here. The staff is a young group and very engaging. The rooms are spacious with a great minibar. The hotel is intimate and clean and very well run. The location cannot be beat, particularly if you are going to Wrigley Field. The complimentary breakfast is very good and coffee and cookies are vailable all day with a great 24 smalll bites room service, It is old fashioned great service in an intimate atmosphere.

Outstanding hotel

City Suites Chicago is an outstanding boutique hotel. Its location is excellent, truly adjacent to the Belmont Street L Station, which is served by the Red, Brown, and Purple lines, all providing easy access to the Loop. The trains do not provide a lot of noise despite the hotel's proximity to the lines. The staff at the hotel is kind and willing to go out of their way to insure a good stay. The rooms are of good size, with comfortable beds, two televisions, bath robes, a competitively priced mini-bar, and upscale soaps and lotions. My only complaint concerns the terrible irons and ironing boards, but this problem seems to plague many hotels. Overall, you will make a good choice staying at City Suites Chicago.

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff

Perfectly located for those looking to experience Wrigleyville. Within walking distance to Wrigley but also right by a Metro stop if you don't want to walk or need to adventure in other parts of the city. Parking is expensive but the staff is very helpful and it went off without a hitch. Also, I felt my car was very secure. It was worth it for the money saved in cab fare.

Great hotel!

I've been to Chicago about a dozen times and this was by far my favorite hotel! The hotel was in a really cool neighborhood of Chicago that made you feel like you were living in the city and not in such a touristy area. The staff was amazing and incredibly helpful. We stayed in a King Suite, so the room was really big and very tidy. The bathroom was a lot bigger than a lot of other hotels and it didn't give off the hotel vibe because it felt really homey. It was right next to the red line, and honestly I don't think the noise was that bad. The parking could be done through the hotel for only $22 a day! Such a great deal! The breakfast spread was nice for a little continental breakfast. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago! I miss it already! :) z
