Would not recommend it to anyone.

It looks good from the outside; however the halls, and the rooms were lacking. The shower although clean looked old and in need of refurbishing. The room carpet again although clean was very threadbare. The bed was very uncomfortable. It did not provide a small refrigerator which was needed to keep my insulin and the ice machine was on the first floor; pretty far. Overall we were very disappointed in the facility. WiFi was only available in the lobby; very inconvenient. The staff we dealt with was ok.

Cheap, and it shows

Was looking for a cheap place to stay near the Allstate Arena, total was around $50 for a night for a King bed room. I've stayed in a lot of hotels for around the same price, but this one really reflects the cheap price. Here's why: -Hallways and common areas are really in need of maintenance and basic care -Mold on the ceiling above the shower -Shower fluctuated between cold and scalding and the water pressure was pathetic -Mattress was extremely uncomfortable and had a distinct dent in the middle that we both rolled into over the night. -Breakfast was described as coffee and donuts, the coffee was terrible and the donuts were actually a platter of ho-ho's. -One of our lamps in the room didn't even work, room also needed more lights. -Wi-fi was available, but only in the lobby.

Girls weekend

Wifi available only in the lobby. Breakfast consisted of a package of swiss rolls (yes the chocolate cupcake type), hot water for tea, or coffee. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and they do provide transportation within 3 miles of hotel. Location was okay- not too close the airport where the planes were always loud, but close enough. About two blocks from the CTA station.

Garden getaway

The location is conveniently close to the airport, and the room for the price I payed was the biggest draw, it was a very cozy place and just a good atmosphere I would not mind staying here again. The staff was pretty nice and the room was definitley clean, I would personally suggest this hotel to anyone who might want to stay in Chicago but does not want to pay an outrageous rate of 150 a night.

In decline

Clearly a hotel in decline. Whilst cheap, it is poor quality and this is reflected by the attitude of staff. The bath was not clean and some of the room fixtures seem to have amateur repairs in place. The breakfast should not be called that as it was coffee and a couple of small chocolate rolls. The complimentary shuttle to O'hare took a good 90 mins to come looking for me, despite a phone call and then a reminder 45 mins later to say I was still waiting - all this started at 8.45pm. Avoid like the plague.

Unbelieveable

this is just not what i expected, first there was no clock in the room, didn't have a good smell, sorry but it smelled like urine. The staff service, they just didn't care. This is a One Star hotel. I ask for service to the train station and was told to come down at about 6:20pm and he will take me to the train. It was slighly raining I may add. I was going to a concert down town. The driver never showed up was told at the desk he was doing something else but front desk suggested that I can walk. Driver had more important things to do. I checked out a day earilier. This was sad I hope for a refund.

Sightseeing tip: In Hotel

Not a suggested stay at all, service is extremely poor. Do not have an iron or ironing board, screen hanging of window. If you have luggage and on second floor will have to walk it down stairs to room. This is a zero star hotel no recommended!!!!!!

Tolerable- But A No-Go

Our experience was tolerable- the room was clean enough, but very out of shape. The entire hotel needed some MAJOR renovation and updating. The location was probably the only real 'perk'- a short, 5-minute drive over the freeway to the Blue Line, as well as a drugstore and several restaurants. There was, however, a strange smell to the hotel (that stayed on our clothing) and no A/C in the lobby or hallways. If it hadn't worked so well in our room, (and if we hadn't already paid for our 5-night stay) we would have stayed next door (brand-new suites).

Stay next door- same convenience of the Blue Line and restaurants, with much a much nicer facility and accommodations.
