Unfriendly front desk

Front desk is horrible. I asked them to send a hotel shuttle to the airport. But they ignored my request so I had to wait for more than an hour. I complained about this when I arrived at the hotel, and the front desk simply said, "I could not hear you. The line was bad."

Overall Cheap in price and in SERVICE

Do not go there with any expectations. The room was clean, but the sheets had burn marks. The hallway had a foul smell going on. The safety latch on the door was broken, and even after the door was closed you can see the hallway through the cracks. The breakfasted consisted of one Little Debbie bun and coffee/tea. Nevertheless, the price was cheap, room was clean and the shuttle driver was nice, professional and on time.

Worst Travel Expereince in 40 Years

Absolutley the worst experience of my business travel life. Hotel was a dingy, old smelly place. The room was small and the "king" bed was an old sway-back double bed, with discusting bedding.. At check in, I was given a key to a room occupied by others, and they were not happy to be woke up after midnight. Shower was about half functional. Carpet was filthy and stained. The room number plaque was missing from the wall, so the number was written in magic-marker on the wall. Walls were dirty; drywall broken in many places with dust on the floor. Not worthy of 1/2 star. A nightmare I will not soon forget.

Convenient

The heater in the assigned room was not working. I had to move my things to another room after arriving at midnight. The shuttle to and from the airport was reliable and at midnight, thats all I really cared. Price is right but if I need to use it again, I would check out the room first before unpacking.

The dirtiest one

Location was the only reason why I booked it. Of course i is pretty chip, but there are no excuses for dirty everything. The first thing you notice in a hotel is the smell of an old tobacco. Then airfreshner with an awful fragrance. Then broken shower and canes. Yellowish linen and deformed matrasses. It was to late to change the hotel and we were so tired that we had to stay. I was hopping to have a normal sleep, but some body was crying all the night and nocking doors. The frontdesk was sleeping and they didn't answer a phone. Horrible place.

Great Stay!

I was looking for a cheap but nice place to stay in Chicago. This hotel was very close to the O'Hare airport, subway to downtown, and yummy food. I would stay here again!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a Hooter next door. Small shops around the hotel and a couple of groceries stores.

Never again

Waited 11/2 hours for bus, 5 calls. Room wasbasic but ok; could see dirt on the floor. bottom of the bathtub was filthy, wouldn't get in it. Continent breakfast:. I asked what continent. It was a minature swirl. A real joke. The people on the desk where nice and helpful. The night manager, Johnathon, was a joke, I called him repeated for a bus, I was told, 5 min, than 10 min and another 10 min. He went off duty atr 11 and the next night clerk got one to me in 10 min. Both the night clerk and driver were new. No computer to get boading passes. Buss to airport could not take all of the people. AVOID!!

O'Hare Garden Hotel

Hotel is clean, but shabby - doors not hanging right, wrinkled carpet in halls, fixtures on walls not centered over the holes for them properly. Not a class A hotel. Telephone in room did not work. Staff was polite.
