Perfect for What it Is

If you're looking for just a place to sleep and don't need or require luxury and a ton of amenities, this places fits the bill and is priced accordingly. May be a tad bit high for what it offers, but all in all a nice, clean room. I would definitely stay here again for the same purposes.

Nice and Clean

I was in town visiting the University of Chicago and decided to stay at the Central Loop Hotel. The price was right, location was good but it's a business district (weekends are quiet as all the corporations are closed) so you'll need to take a cab to wherever there's entertainment. I would certainly stay there again if I'm in Chicago.

Very nice experience

The location of this hotel was perfect. I came in on Amtrak and the hotel is literally on the same street, a couple blocks toward the lake. Very nice location, quiet at night for good sleep and a good restaurant next to it. The room was small, but it was just me and face it, you really only need to sleep in the room right? The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Also had refillable water bottles with distilled, chilled water! I had a backpack, filled up a couple bottles and off I went for the day. Overall...I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Chicago...which I will.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

If you go to Chicago and want to see things like museums, planetarium, acqarium and go into one of the observation decks in the Willis Tower (Sears) or the John Hancock building....get a City Pass. They are a HUGE time saver because you don't have to wait in the general admission lines and it's so much cheaper than paying full price everywhere.

Good Business Hotel in a Very Good Location

Very comfortable bed and pillow for a good night rest. Location near all the place you will want to visit and a 2-3 min. walk from the CTA(subway), so 40 min. ride to and from O'Hara airport. Near theater district 5-10min walk to most of the theater. Room small but good for one person and will be ok for 2 if you don't hve big luggage.
