Best hotel service i have ever had
My friends and I went to the DMB Caravan festival, the hotel had extraordinary service, everyone was helpful, smiling and more than willing to help with anything from our bags to directions. If I go to Chicago again, I will for sure stay at this hotel! I don't even think if i stayed at a ultimate high class hotel i would of got service like i did at grant park best western! I thank everyone that works there for a great trip! There was only one thing and one thing only that i wish was different, we didn't have a fan in the bathroom and it got foggy and the smoke alarm kept going off, i suggest a bathroom fan!

Wonderful.
This hotel was at a great location with the taste of chicago going on. We were able to walk everywhere needed and had a fantastic time. The front desk was also very helpful in where to go and places to visit, getting us free passes into local bars and restaurants.

Great Location
We enjoyed the location next to the lovely parks and musuem campus. It was an easy and beautiful walk to the Field Musuem and Shedd Aquarium. The flowers in and around Grant Park were beautiful. It was near the Red Line to the Cubs game, and affordable taxi ride to shopping. I would certainly stay here again.

we went to the taste of chicago the hotel location was great and friendly staff over all loved the stay but the room should have a micro-wave and in icebox for the price of the stay

My Recent Trip
We wanted to stay downtown where the action was and close to mass transit. This hotel came up as such, and it is CLOSE to the "L". We read the reviews, and we were a little cautious. But our fears were put to rest upon our visit. 1st off, there are bars, Dunkin Donuts, a grocery store, and a Walgreens within walking distance (2 blocks!) Then there is the "L" Access, which is also only 2 blocks away. The place is an older hotel, but it has been modernized and is clean, nice and comfortable. Best of all, Check out Mei's Kitchen downstairs. He has a full bar and good (REASONABLE) food... and great service!
