Boutique chic at convenient Chicago hotel

great little hotel
We come to Chicago 2-3 times a year to visit family and have stayed in a number of hotels. This is the best so far. Lovely rooms, small though they were, very comfortable and quiet, everything worked. The staff were friendly and helpful including changing our room on Saturday night when we realized we were near a Bachelorette party. We hope the Amalfi doesn't get too popular.

Wonderful hotel in convenient location
It was a wonderful hotel. People who are very sensitive to noise, may have a problem. It didn't bother me, it comes with the central location, I guess. I really liked the breakfast buffet on every floor -- breakfast in bed!

Unbeatable Location for the price
Everything was as advertised. A wonderful location, very professionally managed great Happy Hour (free) and great morning light breakfast of coffee. tea, juices, yogurt,pastries etc. Very pleasant aand helpful staff. We will be back. Food is catered in from Harry Carey's as room service.

Amalfi Hotel
We stayed for one night and were just having dinner and going out on the town for a birthday. I enjoyed this hotel and it was a change from the Sofitel which is where we usually stay. For the price I will probably stay at the Sofitel again. Our room at the Amalfi was too reminiscent of a Holiday Inn Express I had stayed in before, which I would have expected a little more on comfort and amenities from a hotel downtown. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

I would stay at the Amalfi again.
The doorman was extremely friendly. Always had a smile on his face. We felt very welcomed.
