Boutique chic at convenient Chicago hotel

What a GREAT weekend trip!!!!
We were lucky enough to grab some last minutes tickets to the Super Bowl and scrambled to secure hotel and air. What a great catch to get the Amalfi for such a great rate. The hotel is cool (my 11 year old son LOVED the trendy lobby overall slickness of the hotel). The WiFi was quick, the breakfast was conveinent, the cocktail hour was (free) and fabulous (the cookies in the lobby were killer). The room was just enough for 2 people and the location could not be beat!

Go Deep (dish)..... Gino's East is only a short walk away and worth the trip for a tru Chicago delicacy!

Great Hotel
The concierge and hotel staff were amazing! They were very helpful with everything from directions to certain destinations to what to do in Chicago. The hotel was clean throughout the whole building. There was a little construction in a lounge on our floor but that wasn't disturbing at all. The rooms, hallways, elevators, and lobby were immaculate. Continental breakfast was delicious but could have been a bit better for how great the rest of the hotel was. Very professional hotel. Would reccomend to anyone.

definitely boutique-y
You definitely get the feel that its upscale with the luxurious rooms, decor and snobby staff. Though, to be fair, the bartender at complimentary cocktail hour was very friendly - which was opposite of the lobby staff. I booked online and got a deal, but they rub it in by putting you in a back alley-view room even though the place wasn't full - and where the gargage pickup woke me up at 3 AM.

great weekend getaway
Location is ideal for walking around downtown. Continental breakfast was great! Cocktail parties plus snacks were terrific. All that and free wifi as well. You don't get that at the higher priced hotels. This was a great deal for the price. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

A very clean contemporary hotel
Much better than I expected. The hotel is clean; the design is contemporary; and the internet is free. A complementary breakfast and a 5:30 happy hour mini-party add a nice touch.
