Wonderful Stay!
This was for a one night stay downtown to enjoy city life and to have a good time. This hotel is nicely located to Michigan Avenue for shopping. Lots of choices for places to eat. Rooms are on the smaller side, but it was perfect for us since we were with out kids. Continental Breakfast was perfect. This is great hotel for a night downtown.

A week's stay...
Very clean and affordable room located conveniently just north of downtown within walking distance of Water Tower Place, Michigan Ave, Navy Pier, Uno's Pizza, various restaurants, and the Red Line at the Grand/State stop making transport to and from either airport easy. Breakfast was very nice and well-used in our case. View was nice as well. Drawbacks included the spa "being cleaned" for almost the entire week we were there and relatively small rooms (that are quite typical of downtown hotels). Overall, a very positive experience.

Buy a CTA pass for the time that you're in Chicago. They have 1,3,7, and 30-day passes. The cost of the pass will pay for itself many times over and you can get anywhere in the city just as fast or faster than you can by car.

Good location for a good price
The hotel is ok if you are here for a few nights. But don't expect any service. There is a guy standing at the door but he was quietly watching while I was carrying my three heavy suitcases from the taxi to the reception. No idea what he is paid for. The room is small but has everything you need. Breakfast und Broadband access for free. The breakfast room is way to small and pretty chaotic. However, the price is ok and I would go there again for one night.

great location
Clean hotel and great location; however, I requested a room with a queen bed, but didn't notice there were two full beds until after I unpacked. It was late and I told the front desk and asked if I could be changed to a queen the next morning. At first they said they couldn't do it, then they said they could, but I had to do it right then, that I couldn't wait til tomorrow. My husband and I were too tired right then, so they never changed us. We were very disappointed. Also, our room was right next to a parking garage, so it was noisy.

Loved the whole Chicago experience
We arrived to Chicago after being in Vegas for four nights so it was quite a shock arriving in such a small room compared to what we had. In saying this, the staff were so friendly on arrival. They were very helpful at recommending places for eating and things to do during our stay. Although the rooms are very small, the location is perfect as it is right around the corner from the subway and close to the main shopping street. Overall it was a great experience! My only complaint is the limited choice for breakfast can get a bit tedious, but everything else makes up for this!!!

Try some of the Italian Restaurants close to the hotel. In particular, the chicago style pizza is well worth trying also!!

Great Location between 2 ballparks
The hotel was in an excellent location for walking along Michigan Ave, for dining in both fine and casual restaurants, and for taking the Red Line to both the Sox and Cubs ballparks.

Entertainment tip:
Short walk from hotel
I went to a Sox and Cubs game. The hotel is located between both ballparks, one block from the Red Line which stops at each park. The cost per ride is $2.25 each way. Tip#1: Purchase a ticket early, have exact change, place the total amount that you plan to spend on it all at once, money can be added to a card at any station, one ticket can be used by multiple people. Tip#2: Either stay late or leave the ballpark an inning early to avoid the crowds.

Great Location for the price!
The hotel was great. The only thing that could have made it much better is if there was a pool.
