Nice and Quiet
wonderful stay ..clean and comfortable..great location.staff was very helpful and made my stay pleasant...safe place and the price was very reasonable..best price in the area..no more then 4 blocks from hwy74...not many amenities and thats what keeps the price low..but then again you will get a fridge ..coffee in the room ..it will be the little things not provided like..shampoo,and hand cream..also bring your own bar soap..they do provide it but they are rather small..If you are on a budget its the place to stay.

Good location
Bare bones hotel. Low class bedding. No housekeeping. No ammenities. Lodging was tight the weekend we stayed here--a big marathon race and a film festival in the area so we were happy to have lodging of any sort. Hotel is well-located near downtown Champaign and the mall area.

Weekend stay
We were there for a weekend and stayed there because it was affordable and had a kitchen. The kitchen was equipped very sparsely with only a couple of dishes, and utensils. Bring your own dish soap and if you have more than two people, bring your own dishes. Also, the room had a bad odor and the overall cleanliness of the room left something to be desired. They do not provide maid service which I was aware of, but I still expected the usual amenities, like shampoo, conditioner, - those were not provided. I would not stay here again.

Short Stay
This is a good basic hotel designed for long stays, with a kitchenette. For short stays like mine, it would be worthwhile to locate a breakfast restaurant beforehand or stock up the refrigerator with breakfast items. Most nearby restaurants other than fast-food are not open for breakfast. Internet is available for a one-time fee of $4.99. Faster internet is available, but the basic version is fine for basic web and e-mail. Since this is an extended stay hotel, there is no daily maid service. I did not find this a problem but others might. The plumbing is a bit noisy, and the bathroom door is large and awkward because it swings out into the hall/kitchen area, but the latter is a legal requirement and would be a plus for a person with a wheelchair.

Great location, great price.
I stayed here while visiting the University. Excellent place to stay. Really liked the kitchen area and stocked with its necessities. I would make the choice of a non-smoking room, as the room I got was smoking and had a heavy odor still inside. Friendly and courteous staff, even late at night.

Dog-friendly hotel?! I do not think so..
I usually travel with my dog and this time I changed the Hotel chain I used to go. I had a terrible surprise at 11.30 pm and already pre-paid 2-days stay I had to pay extra US 25/day for pet fee. 2 days = 55.00 (they taxed the dog fee). I pay US 90 for the 2 days. Ridiculous! I was very upset and the hotel staff told me they charged this high fee because dogs destroy rooms. I believe that but US 10/day dog fee is not more reasonable? It will be better this hotel chain change the policy and not accept dogs anymore. This is bad for business!

Champaign, ILL
The rooms are OK, but a bit run down. Staff was helpful. The location on the map was supposed to be close to the U. of Illinois, but was actually about 3-4 times the distance on the map.
