Drury Inn And Suites Champaign

We spent the night here because it is near U of I. The pool was clean and welcome on the 88 degree day. The 5:30 buffet with drinks was fantastic! Many guests enjoyed the food and watched the World Soccer Cup on the big screen TV in the lobby. Very festive atmosphere! The breakfast was good too.

The front dest clerk was very nice. Invited us to take advantage of the "kickback" area. The hall way on the way to our room was loud and full of kids running around, playing in the elavator. The floor outside the elavator was wet I almost fell as my hands were full. walking down the hallway on the our floor you could see the kids running in and out of the room. Well, we lucked out. We got the room next to the kids birthday party. So we carried in stuff and decided to go check out the "kickback" hopefully a little less active. We had to witness the parents of childrens birthday party having a disagreement on who was going to go back up and watch the kids. The mom didn't think the father was doing his share. Anyway- The food was cold and not what was pictured. The young lady behind the bar area was very nice. But nothing she could do about the food she said. Upon returning to the room parents were arriving it seemed the party was breaking up. By midnight I think the parent might be too. Lets just say, the walls were thin, or the voices were loud. The beds were very comfortable. But the room was very stuffy. The ventilation was poor. No vent in the bathroom either. The room was too hot. With no way to fix. I was tired all the next day. (today). But I wanted to get this off to you. I suggest you make the guest aware of any kids parties going on when they check in so they can asked to be put on another floor. I will be sure to ask that the next time I stay. If I do.

There were children running up and down the hall,knocking on doors. We called front desk and they said that they would take care of it in 2 minutes. They took care of the situation very promptly. Very helpful staff!

The room was very clean and had many useful amenities. The staff was very professional and polite. It was a great stay.

Stop on way to St. Louis, Mo. Visited U. of Ill. and Stoney Creek golf Course

The Drury Inn and Suites Champaign is a great place to stay for Illini games! We got tickets to the Illini - MSU game on a Sunday, but decided to head down to Champaign on Saturday and stay at this hotel. We got there just in time for the free "happy hour" where my wife I and I were greeting to 3 free drinks each and various snacks in the lobby. It was pretty cool. The Drury Inn has nice, clean rooms and a great staff. It is close the highway and a 2 minute walk to Buffalo Wild Wings. About 10 minutes to Assembly Hall. I highly recommend this hotel.

Although it's not walking distance to the campus, this is a good location for getting to a football or basketball game. The staff was extremely helpful, even noticing when I was looking for something and telling me where it was before I even ask !! Room had a microwave and small refrigerator, nice tv, also. Loved the shower !

The staff was always helpful and very pleasant. The breakfast was great. We stayed as a group with a lot of kids and they were very patient with them. We are all planing on staying there again next year.
