Baymont Inn And Suites Champaign

Not the greatest, but it was ok for the time being. I wouldn't/won't be staying here again though.

A friend and myself stayed here while visiting siblings at U of I. The room was a little small but since all we really did was sleep there it did really bother us. The room was clean and it was nice to have the breakfast both mornings. Good value for the price.

Stayed at the hotel for a U of I. Good location and confortable.

Room was very clean and very neat. Nice TV and comfortable bed. Much cheaper than some of the other hotels in the same vicinity.

Beautiful, clean, nice beds. towels very scratchy, and could have used more. The "executive room" was nice when I was printing our return trip boarding passes, we left very early so we didn't eat but breakfast looked good.

The clerk was on the telephone when I arrived and she did not even acknowledge that I was there. I waited 10 minutes while she finished the conversation (made a reservation) with the person. The room was ok but the caulking around parts of the tub and toilet where stained or missing and there were streaks on the wall that were noticeable after shower (I am guessing moisture increased). Nice breakfast and it was great to have a free paper.

This Baymont Inn appeared to be a nice hotel in good conditio. It was quiet and I did enjoy a peaceful nights sleep alhtough I had booked a room with a king sized bed and only received a queen. Also, there was no comforter on my bed when I arrived to the room.

In area for family reasons and simply needed a clean room and bed to allow us to be near. The staff was friendly and tried (unsuccessfully) to eliminate smoking odor from our otherwise comfortable non-smoking room. The breakfast was of the standard non-minimal sort found in many similar places with waffles cooked in situ. We would not hesitate returning, but might ask to sniff the room first, being sensitive to cigarette and other smells. The small fitness room was appreciated.

The first room we were placed in smelled of smoke despite being labeled a non-smoking room. We took our chances with the second room considering it was right next to the fitness room and near vending machines and the lobby. As it turns out, the room was quiet and the mattress was comfortable. We had two good nights of sleep. The carpeting was stained but the bedding appeared to be newer. My sister and her husband ended up leaving the hotel because their room had, in her words, "filthy upholstery, chewed furniture and crumbs that hadn't been cleaned up". It's unlikely we would stay there again.
