Super 8 Bloomington

The room was clean and had everything I needed such as a microwave, fridge, and free wi-fi. Everyone was super nice that worked there. It wasn't extra special or anything and the bed kinda sucked but for just sleeping and showering it was good. For what I paid, I expected a lot worse. And the location is right off Veterans and by a lot of restaurants.

There is no thrils at this hotel. It is a typical room with walls and a bed. The floor was sticky, there was no fitted sheet on the bed only a flat sheet that would not stay tucked in. The matress was about as thin as a baby crib matress. Over all I did not want to spend any more time in this place then I had to inorder to sleep. Will pay the extra money to stay somewhere else next time.

Right off the bat we were far from impressed with this place... it took a couple laps around the building to find the lobby entrance, because there is no awning, or sign on the building or anything to make you feel welcome... just the big tall sign that you can see from the main road, and the parking lot signs... but the hotel itself looks like a plain, rectangular box of rooms... the staff was average... not overly friendly, but not bad... the lobby area and stairwell had an old, musty smell, but luckily our room did not smell too bad, just not fresh, I guess you can say... the one thing I can say that though everything was old, and nothing was "special", it deep appear pretty clean, considering. Wish it would have been cheaper considering they haven't seemed to update since the place we built... we chose to skip the breakfast provided which was bagels, danish, and such... and they did have a waffle station... but we chose to just eat out instead. Oh yeah... the walls/floors are paper thin, too... overall, not a terrible experience... if I would have felt like I got a better deal, maybe I wouldn't have minded at all, because cleanliness is really important, and it appeared to be decent in that department.

Not place we will go again...very low quality and if we had not paid in advance we definitely would have relocated. The smell of smoke in the hallways and occasionally through the vents was the worst. Staff offered to spray for oder....not a solution.

The hotel was ok for a cheap room. However the power went out (city wide) and no emergency lighting kicked on anywhere in the building. It was hard to see and get out.

Charged us more when we arrived and it was very dirty.

Had to come back from out of state to follow up with doctors,great cancer center, also got to see friends and family. This hotel was located at a convenient location as i do not drive,public transportation closeby. Several restaraunts within walking distance. Shopping and hospitals no too far away. Liked the little eating area, washer /dryer came in handy. Coffe maker in room, never ran out . Rooms kept clean and comfortable. Had a computer available thank god as I could not carry a laptop on the trip. Staff pleasant and even made waffles for guests on request. Much nicer than a couple of other Super 8s I have been too. Cleaner. Will return here again if I need to future.

The hotel was adequate. Other hotels booked and I felt the price was higher than normal. Clean room.

Convenient for a one night stay. Had everything we needed!
