The main goal and aim of our staff is to provide exceptionally great service to all our dear guests. La Quinta Inn Bloomington - Normal is your "home away from home", conveniently located at I-55/74 at exit 160. We have several restaurants nearby including Cracker Barrel, Steak 'n Shake, Culvers, Fiesta Ranchero, Arby's, McDonald's, Wendy's, and Yen-Ching Express. We are also located in close proximity to Interstate Center, U.S Cellular Coliseum, Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan University, Red Bird Arena, State Farm, Mitsubishi Motors and Eastland Mall. All the rooms include free high-speed wireless Internet access, a coffee maker, hair dryer, and iron w/ironing board. Rooms with micro-fridge are available upon request based on availability. Our Grand Jacuzzi suites, nearly twice as larger as our standard rooms, features a hot tub, microwave, refrigerator, sink and sitting sofa in addition to all the amenities of our regular rooms. Great Location....That's about it!

The location of this hotel was the only great thing I liked. The carpet needs to be cleaned in both the hallway and in the room. Even though we had a smoking room there was another "stale order" that lingered.

A good inexpensive motel

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. I suppose I shouldn't be upset with the fact that our room key kept expiring and we had re-visit the front desk farily often. (The staff remained friendly) The breakfast was pedestrian but adequate. We travel under the rule that one spends almost all of one's time in a motel room with our eyes shut (asleep). It certainly met our needs and we will probably staty there next time we get back to Normal

There's a McDonald's on one side and a Cracker Barrel Restaurant on the other. Together, they proved very adequate for our lunches and dinners.

not a good experience

check in time was 1:00 pm we checked in at 1:45 pm and the room was not even cleaned yet. Restaurant next door(cracker barrel) slow service first night,couldnt get our orders right the next morning. hotel staff was pretty good, but for the price the whole experience was sorely lacking. we were there for special olympics and it really was a let down. the bathroom was the smallest i have ever seen,ive seen closets that were bigger. on a scale of 1 to 10 i would rate it a solid 4.

Good location while traveling

The location is close to the freeway and close to eating places. We had a great rest!

Motel Has Seen Better Days

La Quinta Inn Bloomington-Normal was probably impressive when it first opened, but is really in need of some major renovations: new carpet, wall coverings, air-conditioning units.... The housekeeping staff needs some serious supervision also. My husband and I were there for a family function, so we did not require easy access to restaurants and shopping. There was only one restaurant within walking distance, but very easy highway access.
