Old route 66

Once we entered the hotel room, I thought we traveled back in time. There was a loud rumbling that was reverberating throughout the room. I thought we were at an old roadside hotel next to a truckers route. However, it was just an incredibly loud A/C. After turning the A/C off, I swear I could hear the one next door. This in one of the most expensive hotels in the area. Happy trails.

Hotel not sensitive to customer complain

Left room @ 11:30 a.m. Took Do No Disturb tag off door. Returned at 10:30 p.m. room not cleaned, no towels for next morning. In discussion with management they said they stood by houskeeping in that the tag was on the door and they just did not go in. I had to defend my situation and they claim they could not do anything because by paying [...]in advance they could not "comp" me. Thus I was penalized for prepay and the lousy service wins out over the customer. [...]

A fine facility

Pool was being repaired, they provided us with a fine free breakfast buffet for both days of our stay. Wedding party guests were noisy at 2PM - Not the hotel's fault, but happened because they have banquet and party rooms and had several weddings booked.

TGI Fridays is sadly the best restaurant you will find in the area, but the good news is, is that it is in the hotel.

Lovely hotel - includes cookies!

Check in was fast and they give everyone in your party warm chocolate chip cookies when you receive your key. And they were yummy. Rooms were lovely, lots of pillows, two free water bottles on the desk in the room. Really like this place. Always stay here when in Bloomington. Ate dinner at Rosie's pub downtown on Front street - excellent. Nice workout center with multiple machines.

Fine hotel, a little pricey

We had a wedding at the hotel, so it was convenient. Seemed a bit expensive for a very moderate 3-star hotel.
