Nice room but paper thin walls; could hear every move next door, alarm clock etc. High winds knocked out power; in the ... morning there was no hot water for the shower. At check-out this was mentioned and the clerk said, "yah, our boiler went out". No sorry for the inconvenience or any sort of apology. bad exit impression.

A good value; nice place

Good location. The hotel is set back from a main street, so you don't get traffic noise. Restaurants are all around, well ... within walking distance. Shilo Inn offers each guest a coupon for $4 off breakfast at Perkin's restaurant, across the parking lot. Take it, because Perkin's has excellent food. The big mall north of the Shilo Inn is within walking distance, though you'll want to take a car to carry your purchases. The hotel staff are pleasant and efficient. Plenty of parking around the hotel. For the best Italian food in town, visit Tomato's south of the hotel. It's wonderful. My room was very clean, I enjoyed being on the fourth floor because I got a good view of beautiful sunsets. Everything worked. The beds were comfortable. Good to see Showtime offered on the TV, instead of HBO. HBO's programming is dismal, anymore. The Pay per View movies were welcome. For some reason, many hotels today no longer offer them. Room had coffee maker, small refrigerator and microwave. Nice to have. Overall, a very good place to stay that doesn't charge you for fancy decoration or services you'll never use.

I've been on the road for ten days and my night at the Shilo Suites was far and away the best. Everything was well-designed, ... showed great planning. The mini-suite was immaculate and extremely well equipped in every way. I have to search to find any negatives, and they are tiny: out of about eight lights in the suite, one florescent one was on its way out and made noise as well as flickered; the shower head was poor while everything else was of high quality; the breakfast was in another building which I found inconvenient. But it's still the nicest hotel for the price that I've ever enjoyed.

I may have stayed in a nicer room before, but I have never had such a nice room at such a bargain rate. It was an excellent ... room for that price, and I would have expected it to cost much more. We had a suite with a sitting area, sink/fridge/microwave, two tvs, and a very quiet climate control system.

Huge Room! A very nice stay at this hotel. Service was great, room was comfortable, pool was great, overall a great stay. The ... breakfast is a little inconvenient since it is across the parking lot at Perkins, but it is nice that the coupon they give you gets you 4 dollars off their regular menu. The only thing I didnt like at this stay were the beds...hard as a rock.
