North Idaho Hotel in need of an update
Beds were hard and uncomfortable, pillows were flat offering no support. The bathroom towel rack had been pulled off the wall and the shower curtain smelled like urine and had brown mold spots along the edges. It's obvious that this hotel needs to invest in a total remodel if they want to ask for high rates. I will not stay there again.

Good location, good price, quiet
Customer service was excellent. I was able to check in early (early afternoon) which was very nice rather than wait until late evening when my business was completed for the day. Very convient location. Fridge and microwave were nice to have. Good value.

Okay for a short stay
The room was very nice, the breakfast was not great. The location was convenient to many things, but outside of the main business area of Sandpoint and not very scenic. The staff was nice but they need to pay more attention to things like keeping the breakfast room stocked and making sure rooms get cleaned. It was a good value but nothing special.

First Time Idaho
The hotel was accommodating and was all that I expected. It was clean (for the most part) and comfortable. There were not too many amentiies aside from the whirlpool - though I did not use it. The house keeping staff need to be more attentive as there was a dead fly on the bathroom floor for a few days. The ceiling smoke detector also fell out and I left on the bureau. Either the staff didn't see it or ignored it as it remained there for the last 3 days of my trip. The location is good and will only get better once construction is completed on the highway. The hotel is very close to the town center but due to the construction was not feasible to walk. Once the construction is complete it will be very accessible.

OK for a quick sleep over on longer trip
Guesthouse Lodge
"Rustic" motel, sits on side of Hwy 95 surrounded by black top. My window opened but there was no screen so I had to leave air conditioner on all nite and close drape. Yuch! I went to Sandpoint for music festival and this was the cheapest room left @ $99/night. The motel is actually north of Sandpoint so you need to drive back into town if you want to eat or shop or see the lake. Would I stay here again? NO!

Had a good breakfast. Room was clean but did report to the office that the bathroom sink was draining very slow~
