Chilis is a short walk with an excellent menu and Olive Garden is either a long walk or short drive away. Brownstone Brewery is also an excellent restaurant just a short walk away with some good beer to end a long work day!

Good Business Hotel
FL Gator Oct 26, 2009
Very clean hotel, extremely spacious room, and good high speed internet access (important while away on business trips). ... Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Only 2 small complaints that hotel management should caution their housecleaning staff about. First, if they listen to the in-room radio while cleaning, be careful not to set the alarm when turning it off. I was awakened at midnight one night when the alarm went off. Second, make sure real coffee packages are in the room, not just decaffeinated. I suppose that since these are my only complaints, it demonstrates that the hotel experience was quite good overall. In fact, I have already rebooked there for my next trip!

Good hotel thx to +++deal through [...]
annsimoens Oct 15, 2009
Good hotel cause we did a super deal through [...]. We paid about half of the regular price (which was around 140 USD without ... tax). If I would have had to pay 140 USD though, this would've been to expensive for me because of the very poor breakfast buffet. There was only warm "fat" stuff, nothing healthy (except for some fruit) and you had to ask the waitress each time you wanted to get a piece of toasted bread or drink. Otherwise: great pool, sauna and spa (open 24hours!), unfortunately the steam bath didn't work. Very near the Falls. Good personnel at the check-in desk. Great terrace with view on the stream. All perfect except for the breakfast.

Business and Pleasure Sep 28, 2009
The hotel was clean and enjoyable. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was great. Restarants were close. ... Nice bar area. A friend I was traveling with dropped $40 by the ATM. We went back to the hotel 2 hours later to look for the money. A hotel employee found the money and returned it to him when we arrived. That is hard to come by these days!

Gary Aug 12, 2009
All the inns and hotels next to the Yellowstone and Grand Teton are very expensive. This one is not. It has very beautiful ... river view and 2 hours' drive to either of the national park. The room is big enough for four people. There is also a wal-mart close to the hotel!

Horrible
KDB Aug 12, 2009
The hotel didn't have our room reserved and put it off as if it were someone elses fault instead of taking accountability for ... their own mistakes. Our room had a floor above us and we were kept awake all night by the constant beating of feet above us, the coffee pot had a hair on it when I went to make the morning coffee and I have bug bites on my feet from sitting out on the balcony and watching the riverview. The elevator closest to our room had a homemade sign on it when I went to take the bags to the car in the morning that said- temporarily out of service. We had three days to enjoy and because we had no sleep on our first night away our week-end was pretty much ruined. It is hard to have fun when you are exhausted so of course our second day was cut short from all we had planned because all we wanted to do was sleep...how very romantic. Thanks Shilo Inn- Never again.
