We traveled with a 20 month old and requested that a crib be set up in our room. Upon arrival at 2:30 am we were given a ... Pack & Play to carry to our room and set up. Listing said Queen size bed but room only had a full size, little tight sleeping quarters. Coffee Pot is in the room but they don't provide coffee, filters or cups. The rooms were clean however acustomed to a little more amenities. Continental breakfast could use some work. Never much left when getting to eating room after 8:30am

Brownstone Brewery is awesome! If you are a beer fan then this is the place to go in Idaho Falls. The beer is fantastic and the food is equally good. The service is a little slow but the quality more than makes up for it.

Lowered 3-stars for the price of 2-stars
Frozen Aug 31, 2009
This meant to be a 3-star hotel when it was build, it has a conference room, nice rooms, etc. Probably, to stay competitive ... in the area this hotel had to lower the prices for room and to lower the service level to 2-stars. The rooms have fairly old TVs and radios and don't have hair dryers. It exeeds the 2-stars; however needs some modernization to be considered a 3-star hotel. It has everything to be a 3-star hotel, though. I think the management doesn't have money to do the upgrades. It has a whirl pool, great heeated pool, fitness room, free Wi-fi and free breakfast. I recommend everyone to book it instead of any other 2 star hotel, which are in the area for the same price. Lowered 3-stars are better than 2-stars, if you pay the same amount of money.

you got what you pay for
Bruno Jul 2, 2009
You get what you pay for. it is a very cheap hotel where you get the basic service at a very reasonable price. the room is ... "clean" if you don't start looking for the stain on the carpet, the TV is not the latest model and the internet is rather slow but everything works fine and the area looks safe. I would not spend the week there but for a night or two it is a good place to stay.

nice for the price
single and traveling Jun 8, 2009
I stayed here while visiting a friend in Idaho Falls.... I was on a pretty tight budget so I opted to stay here. For the ... Money it was not too bad....don't expect ultra luxury or anyhting but the room was clean and mostly quiet. It is an older place so there were sighs of use on most everything but it was all clean and not in too bad shape. The pool was open but it rained for most of my visit so I did not get to use it. The tv selection was good..most places only have a couple of channels but this one had many:) It was also directly accross the street from a golf course.... so if you golf thats a plus. overall...it was nice for the money but if you are not on a tight budget you might want to opt for something a bit more palatiual.

Disgustingly Dirty and Unsafe
Shelby Jul 25, 2008
I was expecting an older facility, which is fine. I understood for the price, I should expect older carpet, beds, etc. ... However, I didn't expect the squalor that was my room! After finding several spider sacks attached where the bed frames and carpet met, piles of dirt in all corners, loose outlet plug holes (very unsafe!), lamps with unpredictable controls (the twist control was stripped), at least 40 flying bugs in the shower (which I took video of), and the inability to sleep soundly because of dogs barking two doors down (supposed to NOT accept pets in this motel) made me check out early. The motel, however, should clean up its act or close its doors.

Great budget hotel
Charles Jul 5, 2008
We were trying to find a cheap hotel to stay at during the 4th of July events in Idaho Falls. It is not really that close to ... the fireworks show but we were able to get to and from the show without too much difficulty. It is an older property but if you don't require the latest and greatest of everything, you can't beat the price. The room was clean and the beds were firm but comfortable. It does not have a tub (shower only) and the bathroom is small. The pool area was kind of rundown but the pool was refreshing and since this hotel is off the beaten path, it was not at all crowded. Each room has a sliding door out to a beautiful grassy center area. It was a peaceful place to hang out and get away from it all. We would definitely stay here again if the price stays low.

Comfortable and reasonable price
Stanley Jun 8, 2008
The hotel buiding is old and a bit time worn but the room was adequate and reasonably priced. Continental breakfast ... adequate, though the room for it a bit cramped. Still stale smell of smoke from an earlier day though happily we were in a nonsmoking room. Golf course neaby; center of town some distance--est 2 miles--away. Convenient to travel routes going north or south from the city. Very few restaurants nearby.
