WE WERE THE GUEST OF THE DAY! Our room was upgraded to a suite and it was a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect and we could not have asked for a better stay. It was convenient between two family obligations each day. Disappointed because hotel points don't apply when reserving through you.

very rapid connection to I-90 going both east and west. Yet, the room was quiet!

Basic Hotel for the High Price
After reading all the reviews I decided to stay here, but was a little disappointed after paying such a high price for a very basic room. The only highlight to this hotel was a very well trained dog "Dodger" who literally manned the front desk while the staff tended to other issues. But even this amazing animal soon became annoying after waiting over 15 minutes for the front desk person returned. The room was clean, but of basic quality. The hot tub, which I was looking forward to staying in was out of order the entire trip. The employees down to the maintenance man were personable.

Stay further away from Silverwood if you're looking for a better price and better quality hotel. The price did appear to be well within market rate compared to other surrounding hotels, but overall, all of the hotels were overpriced in order to take advantage of their location in Coeur D'Alene and near Silverwood.

Very friendly staff. The free extras were a nice touch.
The hotel room was very clean. The free breakfast was great. The overall cleanliness to the hotel and pool/hot tub was great.

Family winter getaway
Having stayed at many Holiday Inns and hotels of similar class, I was really impressed by the number and quality of amenities this one had to offer. The staff were great - from the front desk staff to the ladies working the breakfast bar. Only complaint was that housekeeping staff didn't come to clean our room after our first night there.

Dog Lovers Only
Dogs everywhere, including one of the largest dogs I've ever seen seemingly "living" in the lobby and kitchen areas and taken care of by the staff. When the dog came toward my children and barked, the staff laughed it off by saying "he's so nice," even while my daughter was screaming. The dog problem is unfortunate, considering that the rest of the hotel was very nice and the room spacious for a family.
