Great place to stay for Silverwood or golf

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and greatly enjoyed all that Coeur d'Alene had to offer (from Silverwood Theme Park to playing golf at The Coeur d'Alene Resort). I gave it a 4 for value because I wish they had cots for the rooms so that teenage kids don't have to share the same bed. They don't carry cots at all and I didn't find that out until we arrived.

Be aware!!!!

Checking into this hotel my husband and I were very impressed. The staff was friendly and the process was fast. That changed as soon as we realized that we had an unwanted guest in the parking lot in another hotel guest vehicle. We had a barling dog that started up at 10pm and continued until in the morning when the owner came and took it out .. After complaining to the staff assistant manager we were told they were leaving and their wasnt anything they would do for us. The next night we had rowdy kids next to us with the parents located in another room... I believe the hotel was punishing us because we complained... The worse sleep I have ever had staying at a hotel and it was suppose to be our anniversary getaway that we saved up for... We will never stay at this hotel again... They dont care about their guest all they care about is filling the rooms up for the night... I was so disappointed...

comfortable, easy access

I had no complaints about the hotel. The room was clean, neat, and the staff was friendly and pleasant. When I travel I often enjoy a walk (to a restaurant, etc.) and the only downside to the hotel is that it is in a newly developed business area that requires a car to get to the older part of the town.

Super Service; Great Location

Loved the quantity and quality of the breakfast service. 'Quiet and clean' is a good description in a nutshell. Those are things I really appreciate and will keep me coming back as a repeat customer. The Riverstone Community across the street is an added attraction and will only get better as it fills up.

Wonderful Staycation

My 9 yr. old daughter and I stayed at the Hampton for two nights. From the moment we checked in, until we left, we loved it all! We arrived on a Friday afternoon to check in and were offered an immediate upgrade from the room I had reserved (king size bed, balcony), to a suite with a king bed, balcony, and pull-out couch. The room was spacious and immaculate. After getting situated in our room, we walked across the street to the Riverstone complex and saw a movie followed by a stop at Starbucks. So convenient!! We then went back to the Hampton, put on our suits and went for a swim in the hotel pool. The pool is certainly not the largest hotel pool, but it was very clean, and virtually empty. Adjacent to the pool is the spa (hot tub), which was nice because my daughter could swim, while I soaked, and I could still see her. A previous review stated that the pool was cold, but we found it to be just right during our stay. After swimming we retired to our room, where we realized we were starving. The only downside of the hotel is there is no restaurant or room service of any kind. It was late, and we didn't feel like leaving our room, so we ordered pizza, which was fine. The next day we woke up and spent a very chilly 9 hours at silver/scary wood. When we returned to the hotel about 10PM, we were still chilled to the bone, so we put on our suits and headed to the hot tub. It was amazing and warmed us right up! I love that the pool, spa, and other facilities are all open 24 hours. The next morning, we woke up, my daughter went for one last swim, while I hung out on a comfy, pool side lounge chair reading. And then it was time to check-out! We had a great stay and are already planning a return trip!

What a great hotel!

This hotel is awesome! The rooms are very classy, the beds are very comfortable, everything is new. Breakfast is free and decent, free parking, even has a coin-op laundry. The pool and fitness room are open 24 hours which was a nice surprise. There are no rooms with a real river view, but ask for a room that faces that general direction - the view is nice at night. We were in 508 (top floor) and it was perfect. Nice balcony with a couple chairs and small table.
