Good value
Overall, you get your money's worth here. The room is clean and comfortable although a bit outdated and dark. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. Breakfast was decent and the eating area well maintained. For the price, it's difficult to complain. Nevertheless, I need to say that the sound insulation for the rooms is woefully indadequate. I was awakened both nights of my stay around 1am by slamming doors and incessant talking from the room next door. I don't think the women were being overtly noisy, but it sounded like they were sitting in my room. Just thin walls. There was some kind of mass meeting of state road workers in the motel on my last day, and I had to park in a nearby office lot when I checked out. Nothing available I'm afraid. And, by the way, the noisy women next door were at it again as I was packing to leave. But, if you bring some earplugs, it's a good value.

Great place to stay
I had a good experience here. The staff was EXTREMELY nice and helpful. I left really early in the am for my flight (before breakfast opened at 5am) but they still scrounged something for me to nibble on. AND during the day they had popcorn to nibble on. Yummy. My one and only complaint was that a lot of the other guests were construction people and they were a little loud in the hallway when I was trying to take a nap (mind you it was 6pm). Would stay here again if I'm ever up that way again.

Days Inn Couer D'Alene
Good location. This wasn't a fancy place but it was clean and well-maintained. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The breakfast was unimpressive. My kids would have liked a pool but we chose not to pay more for a pool since we were going to Silverwood and the waterpark there. All in all we would stay there again but would request an odd numbered room so we wouldn't be facing the main road out front.

Neat and Clean
The hotel was super easy to find...right off I-90. For the price, I got a clean and nicely appointed room. I'm not usually one who needs lots of extras. I had a big bed with plenty of fluffy pillows. The bathroom was big enough; the shower was roomy with good water pressure. This is a "no frills" hotel, but it felt somehow more than that. Breakfast was ready to go when I walked in around 6:30 or so and the staff were very friendly and efficient without being over the top. I have stayed locally in other hotels I will not name here...I would, and likely will, return to this one before I ever step foot in any of those others again.

Go grab a Bowl of Soul at Java on Sherman. The vibe is kitchy and the coffee is fantastic. I never head out for a day of fishing without stopping here.

Loved the beds
This is a great place to stay. Close to everything. The beds were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place. The breakfast could use a little more variety though.

Decent Hotel with a great staff
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I have stayed twice at this hotel the fist time had a room on the back side which was quiet, the second time I had a room on the front side facing the parking lot and road which was noisy.
