Pit Stop for the Night
We needed a place to stay overnight on a trip from Washington to Utah. My son used his smartphone to go to Orbitz' web site and book a room. The rates for the La Quinta in Caldwell were the best for what we were looking for. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast the next day was great! I was expecting the typical continental breakfast of a simple pastry. Instead, my son and I enjoyed waffles and biscuits with gravy. We will likely be staying there again on the return trip.

Just okay.
The bed was clean, as well as the bathroom. But the carpets in the hall and in the room were dirty. I noticed pets were allowed in the facility and given the condition of the carpets, I was concerned about fleas and ticks. There was no evidence of them in my room, but I was concerned.

Close to where we needed to be
We visited family in the area, so used the hotel just for sleeping. The rooms are older, and the one we had seemed "really" small for a king size bed and a portable crib. Tight! The lobby was updated and pleasant, and they had a wonderful breakfast, located in a large room, with plenty of seating, and varity of food. The hostess was very friendly and good to the kids. The night manager was also very friendly and informitive. They were in the process of putting down new indor/outdoor carpet leading to the pool and hot tub area, which, when done will also be nice. Overall, once updating is comlete, I would consider staying there again in the future.

Great for my elderly mother
The staff was very friendly and helpful in support service and recomendations to local dining. Continental breakfast was also presented nicely and tasted good. We would definately stay at this motel again.
