The Shilo Inn Riverside was clean, had super friendly staff and has free internet wireless. Although I was not traveling with ... pets this trip, they do allow pets. I have had better experiences with this motel chain than at this location. I hope this place is high on the list for renovation because it desperately needs it. Clean, but seriously dated. The two queen beds were mismatched and both equally uncomfortable. The linens were pilled. The coverspreads are a perfect example of why polyester got such a bad name. The room had an actual key (no electronic card) and no deadbolt on the door (yeah, I know, it's Boise, but still...). The room also had that previously smoked in stale odor that never really disappears until you replace the drywall. If you are looking for budget travel in the Boise area, try the Shilo Inn at the Airport instead of the Riverside location. At least until that miracle renovation happens...

Went to take a look at Boise State...5 hours into trip, in middle of no where had a blow out...and spare was wrong size and ... was flat to boot!! Called Shilo Inn..staff was extremely understanding, told them would be there after 1am..no prob...well had a prob, had to be towed to a tiny town in the middle of now where and get a room in that town for night...called Shilo and informed them not making it and they moved my arrival to the next day so we wouldnt be a no show. So after getting truck fixed we finally made it to Boise and the Shilo Inn...OMG could the staff ([...]) be any nicer?! They even had a post it on me and what had happened to us! He upgraded us to a river view room at no extra charge! He even helped me find local tire business' and great chinese food! Awesome Staff!! Def. stay there, you will be treated like queens and kings!Clean room great river view yummy breakfast!

The facility was in great shape. Good location on the river and river walk. The staff were top notch. The hospitality room ... was truly hospitable. I am very picky and I could not find a single thing to complain about. I wish I could have a place like this to stay wherever I travel. It was a lot of bang for the buck!

Came for a doctor appointment at St Lukes. Once we found the motel it was easy to get to other places. Easy drive to St. ... Lukes. Shopping was within walking distance. The greenbelt by the river was a bonus. Very relaxing.

This is my favorite. The Continental Breakfast at this Shiloh Inn was outstanding. The carpeting in our room was brand new. ... The staff was very courteous and professional. I will definitely stay there again.

Wonderful hotel. Other than refurbishing was being done on the rooms (painting and new bathroom floors) the motel was quiet ... and well maintained. Excellant front desk staff and a great breakfast room. Cookies, fruit, popcorn and a coffee-latte machine in the lobby 24-7. Rooms were spacious and the new bedding made for very comfortable nights sleep. Clean indoor pool and hot tub. You will need transportation to restaurants, only one in walking distance. Stayed here for 7 days and will definately stay here on my next trip to Boise. Quiet safe motel.

Convenient to Downtown

The Shilo Inn Riverside was very convenient. We could walk downtown and /or take the bus. There was easy access to trails ... and a pleasant casual restaurant nearby where you could dine outside or in. It had light music and was right by the greenbelt, river area. The Inn itself provided a very adequate breakfast and internet access. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to be able to use the complimentary airport shuttle and not have to rent a car.
