Awful

Beds were awful. Service was awful. Just a really terrible place to spend my honeymoon. I will never recommend this to anyone. In fact, I'd probably warn them against it.

Great location and good price

Nice hotel in a great location. I was less than two blocks to the mall and great restaurants. The staff suggested several great spots to eat and once the Olive Garden was mentioned, I was set for the evening.

Best Hotel Experience Ever

My brother and I were in Boise for our Niece's graduation and to visit our Mother. The staff at the hotel made everything very easy and enjoyable. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant. They even went so far as to let us throw a pool party for our niece and her friends at the hotel. The room was beautiful, tasteful and elegant. The staff, all the way from the Manager to the ladies that kept our room immaculate could not have done a better job of making our stay perfect. It would have been nice if they would have had a treadmill or stationary bike on the premises but the health club they provided was not far and worked well. Also, their Continental breakfast was way more than we expected. They have everything from cold cereal to waffles, plus much more.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

For us the hotel was located perfectly - it was right between our Mother's and sisters. Easy to find and dining and entertainment was close by. Although we drove to Boise we also noticed it was close to the airport.

Comfortable and Friendly

My husband and I stayed at the Harrison with our toddler and infant for a few days while we attended a conference. We chose this hotel b.c it was reasonably priced, had a swimming pool and was within walking distance to Calvary Chapel Boise. We were not expecting much more than a place to stay but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (the beds were very comfy!), they were able to accommadate us with a fridge and portable crib upon request, they served continental breakfast by the pool (cereal, bagels, muffins, make your own waffles, etc), and it was in a good location (plenty of dining options near by). The most notable aspect of our stay was the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. In our stay from Thursday night to Monday morning, every staff member from housekeeping, to front desk, etc that we passed or came into contact with stopped what they were doing to smile and ask us how we were doing, my husband and I kept commenting on how friendly everyone was there. Any time we needed something they were more than willing to accommodate, I never felt like I was and inconvenience. If we ever need a place to stay in Boise, we will choose the Harrison again. It is not a luxury getaway but as far as 3 star hotels go, this was as good as it gets.

Great value

As the hotel description suggests, it is a boutique type hotel though not of the highbrow nature that such a description usually implies. You can tell from the architecture and some fittings that it is an older building. However, it has been refurbished and well cared for. The rooms are very large with a sitting area including TV, couch, chair and coffee table with a separate area for the bed(s)...which are wonderfully comfortable, by the way. The bathroom area is multi-room, set up in such a way that two people can be preparing at once. The hotel is quiet with a very nice indoor pool, which you can watch as you come up or down the glass-walled elevator. It is handily located to a number of activities, including the Boise Town Square shopping mall. The rooms have coffee makers, microwaves, and ironing boards but could use refrigerators.
