Hampton Inn Des Moines-West
We stayed in Des Moines for the Nebraska - ISU football game. This was the closest we could get to Ames. The hotel was simply great. It was clean, tidy with very polite desk personnel. I would highly recommend this hotel. In addition the area it was in was quite and very clean.

Fantastic great location easy to get to
My daughter and I went shopping 2 great Malls within short driving distance of the hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer to do more site seeing.

Hampton inn
This was a fantastic hotel for anyone travelling or meeting up with somebody! The room was clean. The staff was friendly. I even needed a jump start and they helped me out with that. My only complaint was there was no syrup at the breakfast bar! That's not even that big of a deal but a man needs his syrup. The pool was amazing! The hot tub was even more amazing! Warm in these cold months. The towels were fresh and everything seemed very clean!

There is a shopping mall that is very catering for those looking to shop or dine just a short drive south of the location. The staff was kind enough to point us in the right direction.

NIce quiet atmosphere, very comfortable
The hotel is located in a nice location close to the newest mall in Des Moines and also lots of restaraunts nearby. Convenience is what comes to mind when I stayed here. The beds are so comfortable and love the choice of pillows to satisfy everyone's preference of firmness/softness. Nice hot breakfast the next morning to get you off to a good start.

Family Wedding
Very nice, clean, QUIET, friendly, and easy access. Stayed here over the weekend for a family wedding. The place was packed. There was some baseball tourney going on and kids were EVERYWHERE, but the rooms proved to be very quiet. Would definately stay there again. Nice breakfast buffet included (hot & cold).

Not what I expected
It was an ok room. I ended up moiving to a nicer hotel the next day for less money. I wouldn't go back unless I had to.

Ah...Relax in Iowa
We were greeted with smiles and generally happy people and given very helpful information of the area. The room was lovely, comfortable, spacious and a well planned, conveniently organized place to rest and enjoy our vacation time and family members in Des Moines!
