The Econo Lodge Waterloo is a centrally located indoor corridor hotel within walking distance of restaurants and lounges. The University of Northern Iowa/UNI, Isle Casino, John Deere Operations, Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center, Cedar Valley Recreational Trail, Lost Island Adventure Park, National Cattle Congress and shopping malls are all within minutes.

DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!

This hotel was terrible!!!!! The other guest that we saw there were needless to say...SCAREY, and the room had wallpaper pealing off the walls, the microwave was sticky and dirty, it looked like there was a blood stain on the cieling, and there was no knob on the tub faucet to turn on the shower...you got what trickled out of the shower head.

barely acceptable

Was in Cedar Falls to attend the National duals wrestling tournament. Was only at this hotel for a bed and a shower and that is all it is really good for. If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay for the reasons that I was staying there, then you may want to stay here otherwise I think you will be disappointed.

Good price and good location for travel

The bed was great. The nose level was loud, we were by the door. The location was in a nice place. I am not sure if it was the best price. But it worked.

One Night Stay

The first room we were assigned smelled so bad we had to change rooms or leave the hotel. The second room was OK but the rooms were tiny and average at best. My wife and I were traveling and she would not stay there again but I would in a pinch. The staff was very firendly and a good free breakfast.
