I had trouble checking in! WHAT A MESS! had to call [...] back and they had to talk to the hotel, my confirmation apparently ... got lost? so the hotel cancelled my reservation? Eventually everything worked out but not before it made me very nervous. Later I was unable to get a good night sleep the rooms next to me were EXTREMELY LOUD and on room left the TV on all night and the other had an alarm going off every 30 minutes starting at 6:00 am. Not sure if it woke them up but I know it woke me up several times!@!@

The riverboat casino was a short drive for the hotel shuttle to get us there and when we were ready to come back we didn't have a very long wait.

College Visit To Sioux City

Visited Sioux City for my daughters college registration. Location of hotel was ideal and easy to find. Rooms and facility ... in general was very clean. Beds were EXTREMELY comfortable. Nice large flat screen TV. Friendly and helpful staff. My access cards didn't work when we returned to the room in the evening (5th floor). Manager was walking by and overheard, he called front desk on cell phone to confirm it was my room (after viewing my ID), then got replacement cards and delivered them to me with a smile. Only concerns I had...(1) when you pay with debit card, they will hold and extra $50 from your account to cover any incidentals you MIGHT use. If you don't incur any incidentals it could take up to 30 days for them to credit the $50 back to your account. They explained it clearly when I checked in...I just thinks it an odd policy. (2) We stayed in a room with King Size bed on 5th floor. The room was VERY small. it was wide enough for the King Bed and 2 side tables. One person could walk between the bed and the TV/entertainment center. Room was comfortable for our purposes but could get a bit cramped if you had to spend much time in there. Bathroom was fairly spacious.

We were called to Sioux City to attend a family funeral, during this difficult time we were very pleased to have clean, ... friendly,troublefree accomodations while staying at the Holiday Inn.

Good Price to Value Relationship for Business traveler

There is not many reasons to go to Sioux City but if you have clients there this is very centrally located, easy to find, and ... for the price a good deal if you are looking to hold up for a few days. There is a Staples across the street and an IHOP next door so what the hotel lacks in is easily made up in location.
