In town for a wedding, so I only used the room for sleeping and showering. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Room had that hotel smell, I was glad that I could open the window and let in the good iowa air. Bath towels were small. Breakfast
buffet had good fruit, but prepackaged rolls and doughnuts

The Family Restaurant down the road at the corner of 92 was good for breakfast.
The listing for this property says the hotel is pet friendly and does not give any additional information about fees or policies. We've traveled with our dog before and never had any problems with hotels listed as pet friendly. When we arrived at
the hotel, we were informed that there would be an additional $10 fee (not a big deal) and that pets were only allowed in smoking rooms. We are not smokers and neither is our dog. The man working at the desk seemed very annoyed that we had a dog with us, he also struggled to find our reservation and was generally unhelpful and not very friendly.
I would not have made a reservation at this hotel if their actual pet policies were included in the description. The room we got smelled like an ashtray and we had a miserable night there. I've certainly learned my lesson and will call in the future if there is nothing specific about pet policies in the hotel details.
Cant really complain for the 59 a night price. Hot shower with good water pressure, and cold air conditioning. Reasonably comfortable bed, no bed bugs. Decent wireless Internet, but no laundry facilities if you are expecting a longer stay.
Slightly musty smelling rooms.
It was clean and quiet, but there also were very few guests, since it was the holidays. The Wi-Fi service was fine. I thought the room was a little too warm, even though I turned the heat way down. I would have liked a firmer mattress. The
pillow top left me feeling achy in the morning. It was about what I would expect for a room of this price range.
The hotel is conveniently located off of a main highway. It is adjacent to a steakhouse and offers few amenities, but does have continental breakfast. The had my room ready for check in when I arrived, and the staff were friendly and efficient.
Its the perfect place to stay if you are not interested in staying exclusively at the hotel for your duration. Good price, location and clean.
