Nice surprise
I marked average because the outside of the building, and the interior hallways, didn't look as if the building was in top shape. However, the room was perfectly clean, the furniture, shower, etc. were all in wonderful condition, and if I need to stay in Newton again I'd choose this place. Breakfast was fine. I did not try to use the pool or hot tub so I can't comment on that. If I remember to bring my suit next time I will try the pool.

Live and dead bugs in the room; grimy bath mat in the tub; hot tub out of order and filled with bugs; floors and tables in pool area appeared moldy. Poor customer service - the lady who checked us out was very rude. We appeared to be the only guests, so was very quiet. On the bright side, the breakfast buffet was quite impressive. Would not recommend this motel to friends or family.

There's no place like home...
I was attending meetings, so only had time to sleep here. Still, it would have been nice if my key would open the door the first time. It usually took five or six attempts, or more. The bathroom toilet has a slow leak, so it re-filled every 30 minutes or so. Once I was asleep, I didn't hear it. And I like wireless internet access. I had the wireless, just not the internet access. I am not bashful or shy. Each shift manager was aware of my problems. I was there three nights, and none of these issues was addressed, other than to suggest that I change rooms. Would I stay here again. Yes, I would give them another shot. Match this trips service, and I won't again.
