Don't stay here!
This stay was horrible! The shower faucet was falling out of the wall and none of the special features of the shower head worked. The room was hot and there was no way to turn down the radiator heat. I had to turn on the A/C. There was no pool or hot tub as advertised. The continental breakfast consisted of toast and cold cereal and a banana. The host/owner hovered around me at all times like I was being watched. It was awkward to say the least. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I only wish there was some way to get my money back!!

Great accomodations for the price
Room was clean, but could use an update in the bathroom area - Staff was friendly and helpful. Midwestern Hospitality at it's best. Great price and location.

FRUSTRATED
Unreasonable wait time to check in
We arrived late at the hotel after a long day of driving. We were going to an Iowa Hawkeyes football game the next day. We have had tickets reserved for four people since July. The four of us arrived to find out the reservation said there were to be just three people staying overnight. We had reserved two queen beds so I do not know what the big problem was [...] All in all it took over 45 minutes to get a key to our room. As I am writing this about ten days later I have no idea what we paid to stay there as we were never given any kind of receipt. In the future I am sure I will not be staying there again [...] it is all way to confusing
