Great airport location, meh hotel
My opinions are colored by the fact that they charged $270 / night (!!!) because it was an Iowa football weekend. I wanted someplace within walking distance to the airport, so I bit. The hotel is worn out, had a non-working HVAC system (room temperature over 80 degrees on a 55 degree night), and mold growing on the bathroom wall. All of that said, it was great to walk from the airport to the hotel, drop off my bags, and have a short, comfortable, walk to Kinnick Stadium. Next time, though, I'll rent a car and stay elsewhere.

Short walk from hotel
If you're flying a small plane into Iowa City, this location is outstanding. Not even 2 block walk from the terminal.
