I was in Fort Madison on business. Typically, I would have gone for a chain hotel such as Comfort Suites but I decided to try something new. I was pleasantly surprised with the charm of the Inn. It has a lot of character and the staff was
friendly. It is an old building but they have kept it in good shape!

Great place to visit, charming
This is a great bed and breakfast type hotel. It is newly remodeled and the owners are just great We loved the "old" type charm. The insulation made the hotel very quiet, but we could still hear train horns. I really liked the experience of
closeness to the Mississippi River, and we really like trains as well.
