Very convenient
Hotel is remodeling. A very convenient location. Laundry was excellent and convenient. Free breakfast was very good. Helpful staff.

Great Breakfast
We had trouble connecting to the internet; the remore did not work on the TV. Our room was ready and comfortable for us. The staff was prompt in resoving our issues, and followed up with us to assure resolution. The breakfast was great!

Best price for a nights stay
It's a little hard to find (behind another motel) , but lots of parking ...and close to your room. Breakfast was fresh , clean dining area. We didn't have a flat screen tv in our room....but we just wanted to sleep,not be entertain. Over all good value.

Do Not Stay Here!
Rough part of town. Hard to find location, very unclean. Our room had the phone tucked under the bed, left over kids toys from the people before under the bed, no remote control, stains on the chairs and sheets and was just in general not clean. The carpet in the halls and stairs was awful and there were cigarette buts in the windows in the hall as well as blown outlets in the hall. Didn't feel safe staying here. Please don't stay here.

Don't stay there
This is the noisiest hotel you can ever stay in. I stayed for two nights and couldn't sleep at all because you can pretty much hear everything that happens on the other rooms and on the hallway. Doors were slammed constantly. Just terrible. At 9am there were almost no food at breakfast, and the place was really dirty. The only reason I don't give this hotel the lowest rate is because they have a very friendly staff, but I will never stay there again. It is not in the safest part of town either.

Good time!
Breakfast was very good! The plumbing (sink drainage) could be improved. We spent the weekend with relatives(a grandniece's wedding) and a good time was had by all. This was a very enjoyable trip and a nice stay.

Outdated and Noisy
The rooms were outdated, worn, and noisy. The staff was very nice and attentive. Their customer service saved this experience from being absolutely aweful. The rooms are in bad need of a remodel. The carpet was worn, the tile in the bathroom was worn and chipped. The mini-fridge was so loud I had to turn it off. The walls were very thin so you heard everything outside the room. We made due with it but would not stay there again.

This is my first choice hotel to stay in while in Des Moines, however, in the past year I have found that there is a growing need for cosmetic repairs.
