I enjoyed my stay. Nice and quiet.

We stayed at this hotel for RAGBRAI. I was generally uncomfortable here because it is on the same property as a hotel that we had problems with before. I did not realize this until after we arrived at the hotel. The hotel did not have newer looking bed spreads or even room design and it smelled funny. We had to go and buy air fresheners and leave the windows open to get rid of the smell. The breakfast was very good and we appreciated the laundry service on site, but that was about it. Also, there were a lot of bugs crawling around the hotel. They need an exterminator.

it was very inexpensive. Super continental breakfast. the only downfall was the ice machine didnt work

If there was public transportation doing the week and weekend with longer hours, say upto 11:00pm.

The [...]site said Pets Welcome but when we got there that was not the case. I left them in the car for the night since it was cold enough but the sign said that there was a $200 fine if they were on the premise. I talked to the desk clerk and he said it was okay as long as they were in the car. I look for hotels that spefically will allow pets. I don't like surprises when I think everything is already arranged. On a second note the walls were SUPER thin. You could hear people's converstation clearly from the rooms next door or in the hallway. Beware of conversation that you may not your young children to hear.

Hotel a bit off the beaten path, room was small but okay for our one-night stay. TV had signal problems and some channels quite snowy. Internet signal was good. Free breakfast was good,with waffles, biscuits and gravy, and more. Overall was acceptable.

The hotel was very clean and large for the money. However, the morning breakfast was lacking. If you are not up and eating in early morning they will ran out of food and not replace it. They close at 9 am and I arrived at 8:30 am. Several items were gone and they refuse to replace them. First come first served.

I just spent the night - in town for a job interview. The bathroom had plenty of towels and the water pressure was great. The other room amenities were fine, but the bed coverings were so antiquated - one had to wonder how clean they could even ever get again. The desk service was polite and efficient.

I was there a week on business in Des Moines. The room was clean, the staff nice, and the hotel was good. It was not the most up to date but everything was clean.

My teenagers wouldn't go to breakfast or the pool alone. They didn't feel safe. We were under the impression there was an indoor pool and an outdoor pool. There is NO indoor pool. It wasn't clean and bright. We won't stay there again.
