Quality Inn & Suites Airport

All was well taken care of once we checked in. Of course we were not able to get the room that we requested from [...]that was shown available. Request was for 2 queen beds, smoking. They didn't have any and ended up with 1 king bed and a roll away. It was smoking though. [...]

HOTE ROOMS WERE ACCEPTABLE BUT NOT OUTSTANDING. LESS THA I NORMALLY GET FROM A COMFORT INN. CHECK IN WAS SLOW. AT CHECK OUT [...]ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND FUNCTIONAL BUT NOT AS NICELY APPOINTED AS OTHER COMFORT INNS OR THEIR COMPETIORS HAMPTON OR FAIRFIELD.

Nothing exciting, but staff was friendly and room was clean. But be aware, no elevator. So if you have much luggage, be prepared for a hike.

Easy to find, very convenient for airport. Not fancy but completely OK.

The Breakfast was good. The staff was great. The Hotel was very clean. But the noise of a bouncing ball all night up to 1am on Friday and starting up again on Sat at 9am was just too much.

Overall the hotel was disappointing for aover 85 dollars a night. We had specifically requested a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room instead. The room smelled absolutely awful and we had to sleep with the window wide open to get a hint of fresh air. I mentioned this to the manager when checking out and she just looked at me with puppy dog eyes and said "ohhhh I'm sorry" and that was it. I expected a little more for my trouble. There was a giant spot next to our bed where someone must have spilled their soda because it was so sticky my shoe stuck to it. Disgusting to say the least! The mattress was terrible. Every time my spouse would move even slightly I would feel it and wake up. The breakfast was light on offerings and didn't seem overly fresh. Overall the hotel is fairly outdated and not very comfortable. The one positive is that it is very close to the airport should you need to hop on a very early flight like we did.

Our stay was required in reference to a medical appointment in Des Moines, Iowa. We have no complaints on our stay. Staff friendly. Clean. Good nights rest. OK breakfast in morning. Complementary newspaper. Motel was busy with guests. Many in pool, hot-tub. We looked at many other motels on line thru "[...]". This Comfort Inn was just as described and what we were looking for. We saw several other Comfort Inn's on our way home and I would choose one again.

The motel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. The only complaint we had was that they advertise an indoor heated pool. We got in the pool hoping maybe we might get used to the temperature of the water but it was very cold. When we made the reservation we asked specifically if the pool was heated and was told it was. When we travel we look for motels with heated pools so we can go swimming as a way to relax and unwind after a long day.

It was nice and it was quit. I like the fact it was so close to the airport.

The hotel was nice but very isolated from any place to eat. The evening staff could not even tell me where I could go to get something to eat or which way to look. We were without transportation so walked several blocks to a grocery store. Get what you pay for but the room was nice and comfortable.
