Hotel is 2 story, colonial style hotel with 117 rooms and 2 meeting rooms. Room styles include double queen, single king, business king, and 1 room and 2 room king suites. Suites come equipped with kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator and basin. Free wireless high-speed Internet. indoor pool, exercise room and free deluxe continental breakfast. Meeting rooms accommodating up to 40 people. Located on the southeast corner of the I-35/80 and Merle Hay Road intersection (exit 131). Hotel is within minutes of all popular Des Moines destinations including downtown. Iowa Events Center, state fairgrounds, Prairie Meadows Race Track/Casino, western suburban business district and Jordan Creek Mall.

Decent Stay, Decent Location

Fairly average hotel, with a decent continental breakfast. Good location to some good chain restaurants and good location to the interstate for travel. Only 10 minutes from downtown Des Moines, so much cheaper than staying downtown. Also, very close to some really good running trails that go for miles and miles.

Very good value

The hotel is older, but very well maintained. Our room was spacious, everything worked, and the bed was comfortable. We were on the highway side, so we could hear the highway sounds. If you don't like traffic sounds, you may want to request a room on the interior of the hotel away from the highway. It was a great stay, good continental breakfast, pleasant staff, and a good price.

it wasnt very good at all

when we got to the hotel they could not find the recervtion. they even called other hotels in the area an there was NO recervation made. Thankfully it was a week day and there were rooms.[...]

Great Location, Great Stay, Great Price

All the hotels were booked where I was spending my weekend. Quality Inn & Suites was further out, but close enough. The hotel was easy to find, just off of the freeway. The hotel was quiet, the room was spotless, and the price was right. There were plenty of options available for dining. I will return!

Good night's sleep, easy to find locatio

We stayed overnight on the way to a family wedding. The hotel was in a good location, clean, affordable, free wifi, okay breakfast. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was just what we needed for the night.

Noisey

Our room was extremely noisey. We could hear the water running through the pipes constantly. The room was adjacent to the maids closet so early every morning we heard the banging around and talking of the maintenance staff. The room itself had a crack in the drywall from ceiling to floor and the vanity was cracked. There was a musty odor.
