North Des Moines hotel offers free breakfast, Internet and indoor pool

OVE PAID
Out of the way.
When we arrived on Thursday night. The "bar" next door had over 50 motorcycles parked in lot. The Breakfast bar not good... No yogurt, never replenished. They charged to print boarding passes. The pool was not clean. Not enough parking on the weekend.. stayed 3 nights, way too many, good for one night and than out..if your expectations are low

The price was right!
I saw some of the other reviews before I decided to stay, and yes there are some highways close but I was on that side of the hotel and there was no noise. Also the pool and whirlpool were great and so were the people working there. Very helpful. The breakfast wasn't great for me...they had the waffles, biscuits and gravy and hard boiled eggs along with the donuts etc etc, so it was okay, but I like a little more fruit and such...

Quaint room
I enjoyed the room I had - the bed and pillows were to die for. The breakfast was delicious. I heard traffic all night, but it put me to sleep. The person who checked me in was delightful.

Noisy!
The location is very noisy. Located at corner of busy major road and freeway. Major construction noise from across street. A/C kept going out and bathroom had urine smell. Good side - maid service great and staff very pleasant. Wouldn't stay there again though.

Easy Check in and very comfortable space. The bathroom and shower were a bit small, but otherwise they had comfortable space and free WiFi.

The rooms were clean. The carpet needed to be replaced but everything else was satisfactory.

Pictures are not even close
The hotel was under renovation. We were not impressed by the hotel. It was not what we were expecting. The bed was comfortable. We asked the staff a good nice restaurant to go to and they printed off all fast food places.

Race fan
Surprisingly sketchy
The area around the hotel was a bit shady, and although the front of the hotel and even the lobby looked nice enough, the rear building where we stayed was sketchy at best. Worst were all the parties going on throughout the hotel and kids running up and down the halls to the wee hours. The staff was not very sympathetic to complaints by myself or from other guests gathered at the desk. I will avoid this hotel chain in the future.
