Des Moines airport hotel with shuttle service, free Wi-Fi and breakfast
The Baymont Inn and Suites Des Moines Airport provides free daily shuttle service to the airport from 6 a.m. to midnight. When booking this hotel online it advertised free shuttle back and forth to the airport. My flight left Des Moine at 6:00 am. I asked the manager the night before to set a wake up call at 4:00 am and that i would need the shuttle to take me to the airport at 4:40 am. He was very rude and said the shuttle doesnt start running until 6:00 AM and that i would need to call a cab. Once the cab didnt show up i called another hotel to pick me up at 4:50 am and paid them $20.00

Good night stay.
The hotel is very nice and the beds are comfy if you like a firmer bed. The staff was amazing and they even let us heat up leftovers for my 17 month brother using their breakroom microwave. The pool area was clean and the pool was warm. Only thing I found that I didn't like was that it was kind of out in the middle of nowhere, but give it a few years and I think there will be things around it.

One night stay
I didn't realize it would be so out of the way from the route I was driving. No good restaurants close by. Layout of the hotel is not inviting. There should be more signage regarding room numbers, as there are several confusing hallways to navigate. TV remote was difficult to use, and had no instructions. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel was nice and very clean. The staff was friendly and eager to assist. Daily free breakfast was nothing fancy but good. How can anyone complain about free breakfast? This hotel is a ways from everything however, quiet and comfortable. Good hotel if you want to be off the beaten path.

Many miles in two weeks
staff great, property fine
After reading the on-line reviews for this property, I was expecting something abit more than experienced. Every staff member I encountered was very nice. The property, rooms, breakfast, and swim area were certainly adequate and clean but probably not at the level or quality I had hoped after reading the online responses.

Clean, convenient and friendly
My husband and I stayed overnight on our way down from Wisconsin to Texas. We found the location convenient - close to the highway. Our room was clean and the staff was very friendly. We also thought the continental breakfast was good. Very nice accommodations for the price.
