Great value
This was a night out for my girlfriends birthday, king bed with jacuzzi and fireplace, and couldn't have been more happy with the room and the service. The only possible downgrade I would give is the lack of a vent and higher pressure shower head in the bathroom. We will be renting this room again.

Nice Hotel
This hotel is a very nice place to stay, and the staff was nice and helpful. I was tempted to ask the front desk if everything extra eg. frig., microwave, DRINKING GLASSES, were removed from the room after it was booked cheaper through Orbitz. The description strongly suggested that our room would have these things, and it had none of them. Oh, not even a coffee maker, which almost all rooms have now days!!! Other than this being annoying, the hotel was nice.

Comfortable, Clean, Easy Access, Near Restaurants
Located off main interstate (I-80), on a frontage road; good signage. Directly across from a Cracker Barrel restaurant and a few blocks by car to a gas station/convenient store, if you need a few snacks, etc. Interior modern, open, bright, clean smelling but not perfumey, just fresh. Outdoors, cabin decor. Room comfortable, very clean. Spa did not work; I had read this in a prior review and so expected this; ok. On the first morning the hotel lost hot water but had it fixed within a day and gave us credit for the inconvenience. (This gesture of good faith was appreciated). Nice clean pool with warm water and plenty of towels. Breakfast was pretty good, not exceptional. Staff were helpful. Quiet location in outer Davenport area; mainly car accessible.Would stay here again.

When traveling with young school age children, it is fun to wrap up a set of matching clothes for each day, and let the children "pick" a surprise package of clothing to wear each day. Keeps clothes together neat in suitcase and is fun.

FInally - A great AmericInn
Nice friendly people! Ice machine was broken but they had a repairman there and it was fixed proto! Room was clean and cool. Internet was reasonably fast. Breakfast area was stocked. We didn't hit the pool but others did. We have had other AmericInns that were very poorly managed. This one was a very pleasant exception and I rate it high.

Good deal for 1 night stay over
Hotel was clean, good free breakfast, quick checkout. Spa was out of commission (July 2011). If your room is on the second floor you'll be carrying your luggage up the stairs. (no elevator)

Met our expectations
In town for a swim meet with two 14yo girls. Check-in was fairly smooth (she wasn't very familiar with their new computer program with online booking)and she told us the pool hours and bkft hours. Room was clean and comfortable and all bkft items were available. Would stay there again. Handy to the places we were going on the north side of Davenport and quick to get to I-80.

GREAT LOCATION
The Americaninn was very comfortable. The room was larger than I expected, and was clean. The bathroom was seperate from the vanity area. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable to the area. The corridors and rest of the hotel were very clean, including the pool and hot tub. Cracker Barrel was right next to the hotel, so that was fairly convenient. I would stay here again.
