Western Inn

I chose the hotel based on location and price. It was a good value for the money. The room was clean and spacious. The best part about the hotel was the desk staff. They were friendly and efficient each time I talked to them. When I got back to Boston, I realized I had left my car keys in my room. When I called to inquire, the agent was very helpful and promised to look and call back within 24 hours. As promised, another agent called the next day to say they had found them. He generously offered to drop them in the mail.

This motel was chosen for a quick one night stay because the alternatives closer to the airport were all full. In fact this motel was full when we arrived. The staff were helpful, but very busy. The location was grim, next to a very busy country bar, with a railroad track to view from our window. There were few amenities in the room, the shower was iffy, and the key to the door didn't work. The key failure caused a major delay in the morning as we prepared to check out. Staff was again helpful, but the cleaners admitted that the lock had a problem. Breakfast was the poorest I've had in some time, noisy and little choice. Finally, the cost was quite high for a third rate room!

Attend a friends wedding

Stayed 4days and 3nights wasn't the fanciest hotel we stayed in but for the price and the location couldn't beat it. Less than 10 minutes from the main attractions in Omaha, warm pool, clean rooms, very nice staff, Free computer access, and never had a problem with parking (as some comments before had talked about) We had a GREAT vacation and will staying at that hotel on all are family trips to Omaha :)

We arrived late and it wasn't super easy to find since it is located behind a gas station and in a strip mall like development, but when we did find it, the experience was very pleasant. (noting the street number was helpful in finding it since sign wasn't prominent.) After a long drive my kids were indeed welcomed with a fresh cookie and coffee was available in the lobby. And three different front desk staff we met were all very polite and friendly. The room had a bathtub, and although there was no drain stopper the staff at the counter had one we could use ready and giving the kids a bath was easy. 100 pct non smoking was also a bonus. The pool was closed during our stay in Feb 2011. The in room air conditioner was a little noisy, but easy to turn off and we slept well. Breakfast was simple compared to some big int'l chains but very good with some great biscuits and gravy and also toast, bagels, cereal and juice options. We will stay again and reccomend our friends and family staying in the area to download a map and give this a try.

This was our Christmas trip to family out of town. The Western Inn provided us a very clean, modern and comfortable home-away-from-home. The TV options and Wifi services were excellent. It is a great value.

When we arrived, it was after 10pm. The hotel didn't look promising at all from outside. Once we got into the room, at the very beginning, it looks like from the old days but very quickly, we realized that it might look old but the room is big and it's very clean. It also has everything you would have at a more pricy hotel. Not pretentious is the best way to describe it. We need a place to stay overnight and this place served the purpose!One problem, the pet should only be 20lb or less but it was not specified on [...]. I called before we arrived to confirm and as soon as I told them that our dog is over 30lbs and we already paid for the reservation, the staff was very kind to let us stay and charged the normal fee of $10

Not the hotels fault but was placed on the first floor and you'd think elephants got the room above us. They walked around almost all evening. Between them, tv loud and whenever the water was turned on it sounded like a missile taking off. Room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke but was neat.

Room was more then we could ask for, great price good rest, good breakfast. No complaints what-so-ever.

the smell of paint in the lobby was horrible. (very smelly paint). the window in our room (on the first floor) was fine when we checked in but we went to visit family for a couple of hours and when we returned the room was freezing cold because someone had foced the window open and it was broken. we were given another room on the second floor. water pressure was bad barely enough to shower!!! maintance needs to go through and check the bathroom fixtures they need help. (faucets don't turn off all the way, toilet handle sideways not easy to flush) beds very uncomfortable hard and not made daily
