Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Council Bluffs

Our stay was average. Our room had a nice, new coat of modern color paint. The bed was OK, room and bathroom were clean. The walls were very thin! You could hear people making plans for the next day, coughing, hacking and snoring all night long. I'm sure others heard us making cell phone calls. Adequate breakfast.

Good place to stop for the weekend. Theres a movie theater next door and good store to go to in the area. Good breakfast as well.

The room was very clean, staff was very friendly. It's close to the zoo, amc us right next door along with a great wing restaurant! Will stay there next time!

Were looking for a reasonably priced, nice accomodations near downtown Council Bluffs. This met our needs. Room was clean and relatively comfortable. Only complaint was people in the room next to us had their TV on all night. Check-in was very efficient. Front desk very helpful with information as well as 20% discount at resturant across the street by just showing your room key. Fitness center and indoor pool looked attractive although we didn't have time to use them.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, internet connections good, breakfast OK and staff courteous and helpful to a stressed Grandma of Olympic bound 100m fly swimmer.

The pool is small, only 4.5 ft at deep end. Exercise room only has treadmill, elliptical, and bike. Breakfast was nice, waffle , machines plus sausage gravy. Various muffins and bagels. Room was clean and nice. Large mirror over bed. Flat screen tv. No coffee maker or mini fridge though.

Basic room is very small, some small areas of mold on the shower curtain. Woman that checked us in did not greet us, but simply said "Reservation?". No alarm clock in our room - when we asked they said they didn't have extras, and would have to talk to the owner. They did find us one the next day. Wireless internet and HBO were both off and on throughout our weekend. When asked, the front desk simply said - "yeah, that happens." Not expecting a four star place, but like they say... it's the little things!

The hotel was nice and clean, the room was great. I was excited to discover that the breakfast includes make-your-own waffles, so the breakfast bar gets 5 stars from me. Although, I was sitting in the lobby watching Good Morning America, enjoying my waffle, when a front desk clerk *RUDELY* turned the channel at a pivotal moment of high intensity when something really good was just about to happen. They could have asked the guests or waited until the commercial break to turn the channel, but no they did not. I was most unappreciative of that.

The room was clean and hotel was well maintained. Breakfast selection was very good.

Clean room with modern furnishings, microwave and fridge. Large flatscreen samsung tv and desk area. Loads of cable channels. Nice breakfast and fitness room. Safe area near Bass Pro Store and AMC movie theater. We would certainly stay here again!
