Was looking for a basic motel with an indoor pool. I found it. Nothing special; nothing wrong, either. I would stay here again.

Ragbrai respite
Family participated in RAGBRAI, the 7 day bike ride across Iowa, Register's Great Bike Ride Across Iowa. We booked way ahead in advance. We were given a Smoking room ( instead of our Non Smoking booking -not good). I tried to ask for 2 beds instead of 1 King because our daughter joined us. Staff said there were no rooms available. OK, but while I was using the computer at 2 different times, staff offered 2 rooms, 2 double beds, non smoking (!) to callers or drop ins. Price was $10 lower than what we paid for 4 months prior (!). I did not appreciate this, but kept quiet. Writing this instead. Room 111.

Needs updating, room type issue
Stayed for Iowa Homecoming. [...] Property is in a convenient location near I 80 but is well past needing an update. Finishes and decor were well past prime.

OK Stay
The room was small and the guests were noisy. The air conditioner barely worked and when we called it took 1 day for them to fix it. The continental breakfeast was very small not even a doughnut. The pool was very small.
