Reasonable Rates
Baymont is a clean, family oriented hotel which allows pets for an extra fee. Iowa City can be a bit pricey, the Baymont fills the bill as a, clean hotel located in the center of Coralville. The ammenities; free breakfast, free wi-fi, cable TV, exercise equipment and pool are average. Extras (refrigerators) can be purchased for an additional fee.

Good for football weekends
Close enough to get to the game easily but not so close as to be congested with traffic. Some of the common areas seemed a little worn (e.g, pool and elevator) and they ran out of OJ. But, I wasn't expecting the Hilton. Good value.

Great value
I have stayed at this hotel several times, and the staff has always been friendly. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the AC worked well. The shower pressure is better than most hotels (I like a strong shower). The king suites have a sofa (with bed) and a mini-fridge and microwave, which was a nice feature. They have free food for breakfast and dinner. There's a pool you can use. 2 computers in the business center. It's about a 5 minute drive to downtown Iowa City, and about 30 minutes to the Cedar Rapids airport. I'm very pleased with the hotel for the price.

nice, quiet, convenient stay
We were moving our daughter into an apartment. She was able to check in late at night and had no problems. The room was nice and staff worked hard to make us welcome. Descent breakfast.

Out of Order
Pool was out of order. Ice machine on room floor was out of order. Room to house overflow breakfast crowd on Saturday was 'out of order' because of a staff meeting so no room to even eat breakfast. Otherwise place was ok but too many out of orders.

Good for the Price
Only used the hotel for sleeping so I can't comment much. The breakfast was okay but it was only a continental. The location is very convient to the highway, the University and local eating and shopping places. It was worth the price for business travel.

Great Service and Hospitality
We attended a basketball game for the night. We appreciated the hospitality and service from the 2nd shift front desk clerk. He was very kind and helped us very well.

Disappointed Dad
Not bad but could be better...
Just didn't wow my wife on our anniversary...was looking for a nice hotel and got a fleabag.
