good location
Went for an annual girls weekend of Christmas shopping before the rush!! It was geographically in the middle of all the places we like to shop! Room was generous in size and comfortable. Only downside was the coffeemaker was in the closet!! Vanity counter was very tight. Only one person could ready at a time. No mirror out in the room for someone else to dry hair, makeup etc.

Good Place To stay in Clive Iowa
I've been traveling mostly in Europe or Asia lately and this hotel was a refreshing change. The rate was very reasonable at around $100, and the room was about twice as big as some of the German hotels I stay in. Big bathroom, only complaint there was that the toilet had a small leak at the base but not a huge deal. Liked the digital temp control which got the rooom right where i wanted for temperature within a couple of minutes. Internet connection was good.

Decent hotel for a decent price
Not the as close as I'd like to be to my destination but, all the hotels in Des Moines area seemed to be grouped in one of several areas. However, it was really easy to find/get to. The hotel itself was nice enough. Friendly staff and a decent sized room.

Nice
It was a nice place but we were only staying one night so it fit our needs. It was a little noisy but that could have just been our guests. The interstate is close and you can hear it.

Courtyard stay..........
We booked our rooms through Orbitz. The rooms were very clean. Cotton poly sheets and none of the polyester bed spreads. Lots of clean white towels. We booked two rooms and the hotel was able to keep the rooms close by each other. The first room we checked into had a leaky faucet. Management quickly moved us out that room and into another. The only disappointment was a lack of complimentary breakfast. Compared to other comparable hotels and prices complementary breakfast is standard. Courtyard charged $8.99 per person.

Master Bates
It was alright....
Room and bathroom was very clean. Cleaning staff was really nice but the front desk guy was a [*]. Pool was indoor and the chlorine fumes about killed us! Some downers are that there was too much furniture crammed into that little room. There was no mini fridge and a small old t.v. I wouldn't stay there again but it wasn't a bad experience. You cant find much luxury in Des Moines!

Very Nice Hotel
The Courtyard in Clive was a very nice comfortable hotel. The staff was great especially the serving staff at breakfast. They also had a great complimentary breakfast buffet. I would highly recommend this hotel to a friend.
