This is not the Ritz and is a little beat up but, if all you need is a room with a bed, bath and a TV, you cannot beat the price! Needs new bed linens, and it helps if you know what Cat, Cummins, and Detroit Diesel refer to.

It was ok
After reading the other reviews I was a little worried about booking here, but I could not pass up the price. It is close to interstate and since we were just needing somewhere to stay the night and this fit our budget this was the best choice for us. The room was clean the staff was friendly. The only complaint I have was that the room was very hot. The ac was way too small to cool that room down so none of us slept well at all.

Cheap sleep
Headed down on short notice due to a snow storm and wanted a cheap..clean room for 4 hours. was cheap and fairly clean. I had a smoking room but no ashtrays.

Friendliest staff ever
Friendlist clerks and housekeeping I've ever come into contact with at a hotel. Very clean and comfy room, very quick when requesting clean towels and coffee since we stayed two nights. Very good price for the comfiness.

Mr. Buckeye
Good place to get mugged
We stayed in this hotel because we were going to the ohio state vs. Iowa game. The place was a dump. There was stains on the sheets, the entire place smelled of smoke. Our friends room still had used washcloths on the tub and used bar of soap in the shower. The toilet was dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This place has rooms...
Stayed here while I was on some business. It worked. The place is pretty cheap, but it attracts a pretty cheap clientel with it. Rooms have a bit of an odor. The A/C worked, but not well. Overall, a fine place to stay if you just want to save cash and aren't planning to hang out for long periods of time.

Great price, great people, great stay
The staff was very freindly, rooms were very clean, and it was a great location for what we where in Cedar Rapids for.

not so clean hotel stay
The room was never vacumed while we were there, and the bed was only checked once in 3 days. They only gave us 2 clean wash cloths the whole time and 2 clean bath towels. The pillows are worhtless.
