Good value for a place to sleep Breakfast could have offered a little more Good area for places around it Mexican restaurant across the parking lot very good convienient to 380 Staff very nice

We were charged $10 each child staying in our room. The dayinn website clearly states children 17 and under stay free. Desk staff was rude. Hotel is supposed to be new. Chipping paint. Wallpaper in the bathroom was masking taped up. Don't stay here. Locked out of room at 11:20 when check out was at 12 noon.

We stayed at the Day's Inn to be near family and it fully met our needs. Amenities were very good for the price, including room fridge & microwave, which we needed for my wife's dietary needs. The only concern was that the room heater seemed to be warmer than the temp shown, which required trial & error to get the temperature right. We definitely plan to stay here again when we need a hotel in Cedar Rapids in the future.

I requested a non-smoking room close to the elevators because my spouse was on crutches. I got a room that was the furthest possible distance from the elevator and had a horrible smoke smell. I won't be back to this hotel!!!

Convenient location, staff was very helpful. Room was clean. Don't waste your time on Mexican restaurant next door.

The hotel was right off the highway which was perfect. It was a nice small hotel with friendly staff. I stayed the weekend and they came in with fresh linen daily. The breakfast was ok but should have been a bigger area cause it was always packed. Other than that no problems, I enjoyed my stay and if I visit again I might stay there.

Room was clean and pleasant - no frills but none needed. Staff was helpful and accomodating.

The hotel is easy to find. It was very clean and the staff very helpful. They have a new indoor pool. There is a great "daybreak" breakfast laid out for guests. When we checked in, the bill was actually $20 less than we'd expected!

I was visiting Cedar Rapids to find a place to live because of my new job there. I needed a conveniently located "command center" where I could go through the rental housing ads and visit sites. I stayed four days and three nights. Enjoyed the clean rooms and the nice complimentary breakfast every morning. The free use of the hotel's computers for internet access was essential for me finding more rental places to check out. The price was very reasonable and the staff very helpful and friendly. There was nothing wrong with room or the service. Very happy with it all. First time at this hotel location, but have had good experiences at other Days Inns also.
