Funeral attendance
The capet in the room hated a large spot that looked like pizza sauce. The recliner in the room was broke, it did not recline properly. The king bed was very uncomfertable. The staff was courtous and helpful. We were offered a differnt room, but declined the offer do to the latness of the time.

We were in Burlington for a funeral.The hotel was great,great location easy to find.We were on the bottom floor so there was a lot of creaking from upstairs.Other than that the stay was nice>

Great Price, Great Location, Great Time
The hotel was exactly where they said, located where we needed it to be for a family wedding and resturants all around the hotel. Got good nights sleep Fri. & Sat. nights in spite of BIG bycicle race going on and a lot of them stayed there also.I think we are going back again in July for another wedding! lol Great place and good people in Burlington, Iowa. THANKS!

Stale Smoke Smell
The staff was very friendly, a good hotel for budget travel. However, next time I will splurge on a "nicer" hotel, for two reasons. First off, although we had a non-smoking room, and I could tell that it had not been smoked in during the recent past; there was a lingering stale/old smoke scent once the smell of the cleaners wore off. Also, the linens had been washed/folded or stored in areas frequented by smokers, or folded by someone who had recently smoked. The second thing, which I knew going into it, was not having much space for our toddler to move around in the room.

Short walk from hotel
Although we never made it over there, the Catfish Bend Casino is right across the street, along with Fun City. Also, an outdoor water slide park.
