Great Stay
I just stayed at theis property for two nights on a business trip. The General Manager, Jim, went out of his way to help me out. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. Great to have after a hard day's work on the road!

Clean, Crisp, and Comfortable
We enjoyed everything about our stay. We enjoyed the clean, crisp decor of the room...loved having a microwave and small fridge. The room was very cozy, with a great TV. The hotel staff was very pleasant. We enjoyed the continental breakfast. We would definitely visit again.

Hotel personnel first rate. Extremely courteous and helpful. Room including bathroom was spotless. Convenient location to interstate.

Highly recommend Bandannas,. Their Brunswick Stew is the best kept secret in America. Excellent barbecue and service.

Excellent Accommodations!
The Fairfield Inn and Suites was ideally located for our needs. We were only minutes away from Altoona and only a 20-25 minute drive from the ISU campus in Ames. Their are numerous places to eat that are within easy walking distance, as well as shopping areas that are only a few minutes drive away. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. They had a variety of foods at their continental breakfast and the kids spent a lot of time in the pool. I feel that our room was well worth the price and that the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend the Fairfield Inn and Suites to anyone staying in Ankeny.

A great weekend!
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were there last year when it was under construction also. It is now complete and it looks amazing. We didn't have any problems with noise and it was a comfortable atmosphere. The staff at the hotel were very friendly.

do not get this hotel from ORBITS
Orbits had this hoted listed with a hot,pool,fitness center they had none!!! if we wouldnt have called [...] the manager we would of never knew. The hotel is getting updated and will be vary nice when complete. The staff was vary nice and the rooms was vary clean. I would recomend people to stay there but never and i mean NEVER go threw ORBITS. The love to false advertise!!!

the best aunt
Great stay in Iowa
Really enjoyed the stay nice quiet environment. If I could make one sugestion it would be that house keeping would come a bit earlier and knock before entering a room. It would also be great if the room key worked all the time we had to run to the front desk several times to have our key reset.
